The rest is true, but as of right now I would give them graphics a fairly low score(not too bad) but gameplay performance and fun a high one.

Two wrongs do not make a right. If you felt someone wronged your product. Exactly what good does throwing a tantrum, nerd raging, or whatever you want to call it. How does that exactly help your case? If you had any faith at all in your product. You would be professional about it. You would talk to the people in charge, try to convince them to retract the article. You don't put them on blast calling them a liar or berating them on your personals forums. That makes you JUST as bad if not even worse then the person you felt wronged you.
If you are going to play with the big boys, you need to be prepared to act like a big boy. This non-sense of playing the victim, is just utterly stupid. Grow a pair, and be the bigger man, and learn when to walk away, and do stuff through proper channels.

I do believe that the review was conducted badly and its conclusions ARE unfair, but the way T reacts now suggests there is a much deeper problem AV is facing at this moment. He really shouldn't have to overshoot like that.
Just keep it simple and stick to the facts and (most of) the crowd would have continued cheering. The whole "murdered innocence" role with doom prophecies about how his game is suffering over this is a little suspicious. I do hope for the players AV isn't pulling the plug in the near future and try to put the blame for their own shortcomings on an obviously weak excuse for a review to save what little is left of their credibility.

A REAL game developer looks at a bad or unfair review and either chalks it up to that review being one guy's opinion, or they handle any disputes QUIETLY between them and whoever the reviewer is. Multiple walls of nerdrage text crying about the unfairness of it all just makes him look petty and immature. He could have handled this so much better. Instead, he chose to go the whiny, drama queen route.

Sorry, but if someone completely bashed a product I had made(or the company I worked for made) without ever using it, I would damn sure defend myself/product too. Since Tasos is the community manager/PR guy, it's really his job to publicly do so.
Two wrongs do not make a right. If you felt someone wronged your product. Exactly what good does throwing a tantrum, nerd raging, or whatever you want to call it. How does that exactly help your case? If you had any faith at all in your product. You would be professional about it. You would talk to the people in charge, try to convince them to retract the article. You don't put them on blast calling them a liar or berating them on your personals forums. That makes you JUST as bad if not even worse then the person you felt wronged you.
If you are going to play with the big boys, you need to be prepared to act like a big boy. This non-sense of playing the victim, is just utterly stupid. Grow a pair, and be the bigger man, and learn when to walk away, and do stuff through proper channels.

The more I think about Tasos' latest lengthy contribution the more I get this creepy feeling that he is trying to put the blame for something else somewhere where it doesn't belong.
I do believe that the review was conducted badly and its conclusions ARE unfair, but the way T reacts now suggests there is a much deeper problem AV is facing at this moment. He really shouldn't have to overshoot like that.
Just keep it simple and stick to the facts and (most of) the crowd would have continued cheering. The whole "murdered innocence" role with doom prophecies about how his game is suffering over this is a little suspicious. I do hope for the players AV isn't pulling the plug in the near future and try to put the blame for their own shortcomings on an obviously weak excuse for a review to save what little is left of their credibility.

No major Us gaming press has review it yet and has been launched for at least a month.Ask why ign and 1 up has not review df yet.
Most likely because 1) no one but MMORPG.com cares 2) They refuse to give out keys for other sites to review the game, because they know what will happen.

How has he made it worse?? Well that's blatently obvious isn't it. If he had kept his communications with EG private then this would have blown over yesterday. As it is it will ebb and flow depending on when EG get their second review out - all the time more and more people are becoming aware of the situation, and regardless of their thoughts on the review, they are cringing at the way he has handled himself. Totally and uttery unprofessional and appalling at his job. For someone who is in charge with PR why is he acting like your typically fanboy? Sad - very sad.

By crying about a bad (or unfair, depending on your POV) review like a child who didn't get what they wanted. That's how.
A REAL game developer looks at a bad or unfair review and either chalks it up to that review being one guy's opinion, or they handle any disputes QUIETLY between them and whoever the reviewer is. Multiple walls of nerdrage text crying about the unfairness of it all just makes him look petty and immature. He could have handled this so much better. Instead, he chose to go the whiny, drama queen route.
Not to say that all of this hasn't been entertaining. It's hilarious. But it really doesn't make AV look all that good in the end.
Lets say the review was unfair or in any way shape or form wrong, its one lousy review.. get over it.. There is not a company on this Earth that does not have a single bad thing said about, and yet they prosper, and you don't see nerd rage like this. Look up KB Homes..they are the Darkfail of home builders yet they do billions a year.

You can only review game that has launched.How you can review game then players can't play the game.
The real question is why did they BOTHER to review a game that you can't even get a copy of if you wanted to?
What a waste of time with a predictable result, Tsaos responded like a child and showed everyone once again how amature he really is.
I like how people are debating the validity of an opinion, since that topic really will get you anywhere.
They should not even have bothered to review a game that only 10,000 people play, should have at least waited until they had another server up or maybe for a year after review.
Now if only everyone could agree that this game isn't complete, sure it can be fun for those of us who are PvP fanatics and there is no other game really like this when it comes to PvP freedom. That does not give them an excuse as to why they did such a poor job making it what it is.
Just because its the only one of its kind doesn't give it an excuse to be bad.
