Ok, since trolls such as Salvatoris and others seem to think that us fanboys of Eve think Eve is a perfect game without flaws. Well I would like to prove these people wrong. What are the things about Eve that you feel truly does need work on and fixing up ?
The only thing I can think of personally that really needs a mjaor overhaul is the bounty system and tools for the players to make bounty hunting a worthy profession. I am sure there will be plenty of other things people will list off

All forms of Ewar and Ewar drones could do with another looking at.
The Epic Mission wasn't particularly epic ....... And there is only 1 of them.
Everything else is pretty tolerable as it stands.
I agree that EW drones need some looking at and I think that is something being discussed on the dev forums right now.
As far as the epic mission is concerned I believe that was just an intro them and meant for newer players. Something to be expanded on later. I never did the mission myself so I am just going by what others have told me.
I will add one thing that could use some work since it's in another thread here and that would be better control customization. While it isn't terrible it could use some tweaks.
I liked Eve when I tryed it a month ago, and actually ended up subbing for a month. My main gripes are ship customization and collision detection. There is virtually no ship customization, I can't paint imy shipor put Corp decals on it or anything, and to me that is downright ridiculous. Secondly, I found myself often going right through planets and stuff like that, talk about immersion killer and once again downright ridiculous... Other than that though, cool game.

Real as Reality Television!!!
I'm pretty new to the game, but I'd like to see them figure how to better incorporate smuggling. I know there used to be a skill in the game to make it more feasible to transport illegal goods by reducing the chance of CONCORD catching you, but it was found to not work correctly so rather than fixing it they just removed it entirely. It seems to me that it is now very impractical to move illegal wares in high sec. Just as transporting legal goods from high sec to low sec is profitable, buying illegal goods in low sec and smuggling them into high sec should also be profitable.
Don't you think that "downright rediculous" is overstating a little ? What other games let you custom paint your character and add guild or corp logos ? I guess Warhammer has some but not that much. You get some presets and that's about it.
While I agree that flying through planets can be somewhat immersion breaking, it's far more frustrating to the game play to be smashing into them all the time. Way back in the early days of beta there was more realistic physics and you did ram into planets and you even had to dock manually but this was just too cumbersome and annoying and did not add anything to the game so it was removed.
I guess it's a good thing when people biggest complaints are over fluff and comestic things though
Smuggling is a very viable career option in Eve. It's just kept quiet and underground by those that do it. We don't give up our trade secrets easily, but trust me the money is there. The skill you are talkng about was never available in game through means, only through character creation and I belive it is still there and the skill does indeed work, it's just not an obvious on off type of mechanic.
Things that annoy me about EvE...
I hate to be the one who bursts every smuggler's bubble, but it can be done very easily. All you need is a covert ops cloak and a ship to fit it on.
I make billions moving boosters from Jita.
I actually dislike very little about eve so my list is very short.
Some things I dislike (especially these days):
1. The game is too crowded at the moment. I don't want less players, I want more star systems. I miss the feeling I had in 2006 of flying through vast empty space. It made pirating way more fun. We had to wander to get kills, now I rarely have to leave my home system.
2. Falcons. They weren't nerfed enough.
3. The game has, for a long time, encouraged blobbing. A small gang man myself, this occasionally makes me sad.
Things I disliked when I started playing:
1. No avatars. I wanted the ability to walk around stations and ships. This thankfully is coming very soon.
2. Planetary interaction.
You all know it what I dislike about EVE - it's CCP.
I want a team of people who launched Revelation back.
i would like to paint my ship, also more ship variety. Yes ship variety, you can never have enough ships. also now after the latest patch, i dont like align times for most ships. I dont like the amount of time i takes to train some skills (40days? wtf) and i agree with the op about the bounty system needing an overhaul or it should be removed completely. I also dislike gatecamps and people saying gatecampers are pirates. Real pirates dont sit a stargate for an hour with 20 HACs, BCs, and ceptors shooting anything and passing it off as skill, the only skill involved is bumping the ship and locking it.
Playing: EVE Online
Favorite MMOs: WoW, SWG Pre-cu, Lineage 2, UO, EQ, EVE online

what I dislike about eve...as an alpha, beta, and 4 1/2 years after launch player so 7 years in total of playing eve I can say Exodus killed this game for me ever since then it's been nothing but blob warfare and thats a shame as I enjoy the small battles more
You ask people to post their dislike, then when they do you critisise. Why bother.

The person who is certain, and who claims divine warrant for his certainty, belongs now to the infancy of our species.
What do I dislike about Eve?
Bounty system, war dec system, Mining and Courier Contracts need to be either tweaked or totally revamped.
There either boring, exploitable or extremely annoying.
Other than those small features Eve is great.
Playing: EvE, Ryzom
The bounty system is terrible,
Security status should go away or at least be rolled in with faction standings, to you know, make some sense.
Lowsec needs a complete rework,
Nullsec soverenty mechanics and POSes in general need to be reworked especially in regards to:
Small gang combat should be expanded on, at the moment its too practical to bring a blob.
Science and industry interface needs a good kicking, at the moment filling 10 manufacturing and 10 invention slots takes about 20 minutes... good god why do I have to click so much.
Active tanking (espec. shield tanking) needs a bit of a boost, mostly due to engagement speed making buffer tanks much better.
Frankly i dont like the gate system, we should be warping from system to system, not jumping though gates.
Local needs to go, its too easy to use as an intel tool.
Ill think of some more later.
are we reading the same thread? Ive not seen that.
You are right. I didn't mean to come off as critisizing though, I just wanted to point out how some of what a couple of people said might have been a little off. But after re reading what I typed it came off as more critisism than I intended. My apologies.
You should look up the theory about warp drives.
Perhaps their warp drive creates a warp bubble around the region containing the ship and warps it along flat space. A ship traveling within a warp bubble is unable to affect outside matter. Thus, one can also conclude outside objects are unable to affect an object traveling within a warp bubble
I pretty much agree on all points. As much as I would like to see a seemless, gateless universe I just don't think the technology is there but hey what do I know I just play the game I would absolutely love to see local removed from 0.0 but my god there are a lot of people that would scream bloody murder over that one. Though I do see it happening down the road sometime. Would give way more uses to cov ops ships other than just exploration and hiding. The funniest thing about the arguments against removal of local is that both the pvp and non pvp players think it makes life to easy for the other side of the coin.
What I hate most about EVE is that I cant plug myself to my computer and play permently!
Whats I dislike about Eve:
1. Collision detection with spacial object.s Hate it when you shimmer and shake too long to get around a small object.
2. Corpration menus need some slight rework, but ok..
3. bounty system isnt very good.
4. Mission AI needs work.
Things I would like to see, Some are cosmetic, some are not.
1. Redo my portrait once in a while. Ill pay couple bucks to tweek it if needed.
2. walk around in my ship.
3. Have planetary bases for corps and allainces instead of just POS's.
Played : WOW, LOTRO, COH/COV, EQ2, SWG, and WAR.
Playing EVE Online and AOC.
Wtg for SW:TOR and WOD
Well there's a lot of things I don't like but I always played the game because of the likes I have about the game.
Usual gripes for me include long training times of skills that are near 'must haves' like Learning, cap skills V, etc. Sometimes I feel like I'm not getting to really flush out my character like I wqant but rahter I'm forced to pickup things to not be gimped if you follow
PVE for me is not so great. I like the sandbox aspects of the PVE though like trading.
What I normally do is take a break from the game here and there to play other stuff. so I'll probably take a break next month and explore other games for a bit.
LOL look at that!
The trolls all say we defend Eve blindly acting like the game has no problems when the truth is we have more issues with eve than the haters do since we actually play passed the trial
Thankfully the good outwieghs the bad and personally I still feel eve is the best MMO on the market.
Playing: EvE, Ryzom
I love EVE, however i dislike the fact of the Tech 2 BPO's. A lisense to print isk
