The fact that a bunch of you people are actually paying this insane amount for a beta is laughable. You are the reason companies keep pulling bs like this, and it'll never end while there are still chumps ready to lay their money down on nothing.

Beta access to anticipated games is a hot commodity these days. The people at Mortal Online seem to realize this and are taking advantage of it. The fact that people are complaining that some versions get in to beta earlier than others only demonstrates the premium people place on early access.
The fact that the Limited edition sold out only shows that Mortal Online was correct in judging the demand. From a finanical point of view, they are making a very intelligent move; one likely to be copied by many other companies in the future.

As long as people will pay upwards of $100 for something they have never seen i look for an influx of even more vaporware into the MMO market that is already plagued with unfinished releases and broken promises. Here's a couple of things for you to think about.
1. We do know what's going to be in the final retail as the devs have stated on several occasions that the retail game is going to be nothing more than a core MMO and nothing more. We already know that all the features we want aren't going to be there at release and we know what we're paying for. Plus with us receiving free updates and expansions to implement what they want later is well worth it as well.
2. I understand this is not a released game yet but i didn't hear the WoW fanbois bitch when WoTLK CE was 100$ and it was a fucking expansion pack for christs sake.
3. It's my fucking money and i'll do with it as a please and in the end if the game never releases, then who gives a shit. I throw away money all the time on getting drunk or going out to eat or something stupid all the time, so what's the difference.
Plus i don't see why i can't compare the price to a 360 game considering people are will to pay for that overpriced piece of software and the fact the console games are usually far worse than PC games and should cost less than a pc game.

I'll just say this, ever since UO there has only been 1 game that was money well spent when it was in it's original state and that was SWG preNGE. Sony screwed that up massively and made it a WoW clone. Every single game i have spent money on since UO has been money wasted as every game that's out right now is not good. If spending 98$ on something that is going to be comparable to UO is a waste of money, then so be it, every game i have bought up until now was a waste of money so it really doesn't matter.
I am not someone on here preaching about how a got a great deal. I am just saying it's my money and i'll spend it how i want. I am also just comparing it to other games so people realize it's not really that much more expensive than any other game.

I agree here I have spent more than 1000$ on tin cans that are completely worthless tbf, where can I start, LOTRO, AoC, EQ2, WAR, Vanguard, completely worthless junk that promised a new kind of RPG, havent really spent 100$ now on MO but will wait for the DD.
Some of them didnt even had pre-orders , they were just praised alot by these people that never fall in traps like MO, Darkfall and DnL and they know how to see a good product, it was also made by a known company with a good track record so I bought it, turns out it was garbage.
