To put that much effort into trying to piss someone off over the internet. Don't think anyone wins out in that one. Except for me of course, I love watching people wasting so much time with a pointless post. Very entertaining.
But you do know you're actually advertising for a game that you clearly despise just by posting in it's forum?
And Polar the Xfire issue has been deflated time and time again. It's numbers mean squat here. At least drive the speed limit. Catch up.

Sarcasm can be a bit of a harsh humor though, so I could see why someone who likes DarkFall might be adverse to that kind of humor.
The problem is no one will get banned for sarcasm, because sarcasm is just "form of humor" which let you mask your intention (you mean the opposite of what is there to read) Someone uses sarcasm want to be destructive without in trouble getting banned. Is a coward type of behaviour so to speak.
The counter to sarcasm is to make the intention public.
I love the sensitivity we show to sarcasm, this "destructive force having a source in hate" as it were, yet we are so quick (and when I say "we" I mean Darth) to spew venemous remarks (sometimes laced in honey and sometimes not) about those that play the themepark games, about carebears, people needing their hands held, and whatever other remarks are made about those that play those "cartoonish looking" games.

I was never coward and said what i thought. Those who need their hand hold and need the gaphics like a cartoon have spew there not less venemous remarks here or you badly need new glasses to read these forum and identify them.

Haters bring up x-fire total number to prove something.
OP puts a current picture showing half those numbers and showing just one side of conflict. Eye-witness and participant confirms that more people attended on that single spot on that single occasion and that are not to seen from that perspective ss have been shot.
No one can put obviously a current screenshot from any game show at least the same amount players on the screen like OP screenshot shows but still the venomous remarks ( partial masked as false prophecies) using cowardly sarcasm or not, targeted at the state of the game or their fans hasn't stoped and being tossed around like it would proof something.

i have no idea what x-fire is. im playing mmorpg´s since 10 years, and i dont care shit about it
One i would not worry about Xfire,i have been gaming for many years and have never used it,i have no reason to use it,why would i use it?
Something i knew would be a problem with games that offer something better than the normal is seen in that picture,everyone is mounted.It takes away realism and immersion of game play.How can you call something a siege if everyone is just riding up on mounts?you need catapults,players on foot using ladders,battering rams to open the gates,archers on foot using flames arrows,Spearmen to battle other cavalry/mounted players ect ect.This is called creativity and diversity,all on a mount is far too linear looking combat.I forget the movie but remember the Woades? all were archers that fought out of the forest and used catapults,then there was cavalry, also fighters that would hide under the brush then ambush,there was the fighters using shields,Pikemen.This is the kind of exciting combat i need from a RPG type PVP game.Heck who didn't like the movie 300?those guys weren't all mounted,heck none of them were lol.
Anyhoot it looks like some are having fun as you have a decent number join in for your raid,continue to have fun that is what it's all about.

Javac is not a hater because he said something constructive.

He just states a fact that was right by the time he posted these. There are even no conclusions drawn in relation to health , longetivity or anything of Darkfall just an increase and the most you could assume from his statement is something like "Darkfall populations increases".

Maybe you need to put on your glasses and reread my post.
Difference between you and other hypocrites is that you are one of the most vocal people on these boards, day in and day out pointing out the crimes of others while commiting those same crimes yourself. With the amount of time you spend on these boards, when you do it, it is more visible, it is more noticeable. People see it Darth, I just decided to call you on it.
You see cupcake, you bring up others and what they do like that is a valid defense in this case, but the fact of the matter is, I never said no one else has been hypocritical. I just simply brought your hypocrisy to light.

And just another question...if the original post dealt with a screenshot and xfire numbers, why are you asking for screenshots from the "haters" game (which must include DFO, because we have now shown that yes, even DFO players can be haters by your own words)? What does that have to do with what DFO "renders", screenshots, xfire numbers, and you being a hypocrite? Especially when you are asking for this in reference to my posts calling you out on being a hypocrite, and quite simply pointing out the hypocrisy of your posts, and not truly arguing DFO versus other games? OP's screenshot show how a considerable amount of people having fun in game, they share the same content and share it in the same spot a litle corner of Agon. Haters flame the game in these topic about the numbers. So please, a picture of their favorite game having million subscribers should easy show an comparable amount of people on a single screenshot, sharing the same content in the same area. It must be easy or ?
You don't play together with millions, do you ? You share always content with a limited amount of people in a limited area. Not every customer of the game interacts with you in the same time, in the same spot sharing the same content.
Op picture shows 41 people (not my number) that do these despite x-fire totals or even other total numbers mentioned and tossed around.
Your favorite games have millions of customers , it should be easy to screenshot at least 41 of them doing something together like shown in OP screenshot..

Ahh... I see.
I guess I am a bit more consistent when it comes to X-Fire numbers then.
I'm not really concerned with the agenda of the particular poster using the X-Fire numbers. No matter who is using them, I don't think they really show much of anything other than perhaps how many X-Fire users there are.
However, I think where some may have a disconnect with your analysis is this:
If in one thread you think it is perfectly logical for a poster to draw the conclusion that:
"DarkFall populations increases" when X-Fire numbers go up...
Then it is by default necessary to also state that:
"DarkFall populations decreases" when X-Fire numbers go down.
If on the other hand; you don't think the numbers of X-Fire mean anything (up or down) then you can be more concerned with the actual use or agenda of said poster.
As soon as you give credence to X-Fire numbers showing an increase in populaion when they are positvie you accept the responsibility of accepting a decline in X-Fire numbers means a decrease in population. The particular agenda of why a poster is using the numbers doesn't really matter at that juncture. Afterall, the number speak for themselves.

It's really quite simple. X-Fire is one, of many possible, forms of establishing population trends trends. Not the best one, bot the worst one. It shows that DFO has less people playing now than some time ago.
It can be used also for other games, but it is no indicative of total playing numbers. The same diminishing trend can be seen, for instance, in AoC, a fact that can be corroborated by people playing that game.
Really, it is as simple as that. You can see the same thing going on here. This forum was much busier, but now only a handful of people post in it. Again, a trend: less people playing/interested in the game.
We won't have absolute numbers unless AV releases them officially. And it won't happen in our lifetime.

You don't play together with millions, do you ? You share always content with a limited amount of people in a limited area. Not every customer of the game interacts with you in the same time, in the same spot sharing the same content.

Life support...hmmm...keeping things alive...wow, the health of a game. But didn't you state that he didn't draw any conclusions as to the health of the game? Whether it was the first post, or post 100, he shows us his intent in those words.
Hell, I could draw those conclusions of what he was trying to do based off of the intent of his past posts, and based off of the title of the initially linked post. What does this all mean? I guess I am a bit more consistent when it comes to X-Fire numbers then.
I'm not really concerned with the agenda of the particular poster using the X-Fire numbers. No matter who is using them, I don't think they really show much of anything other than perhaps how many X-Fire users there are.
However, I think where some may have a disconnect with your analysis is this:
If in one thread you think it is perfectly logical for a poster to draw the conclusion that:
"DarkFall populations increases" when X-Fire numbers go up...
Then it is by default necessary to also state that:
"DarkFall populations decreases" when X-Fire numbers go down.
If on the other hand; you don't think the numbers of X-Fire mean anything (up or down) then you can be more concerned with the actual use or agenda of said poster.
As soon as you give credence to X-Fire numbers showing an increase in populaion when they are positvie you accept the responsibility of accepting a decline in X-Fire numbers means a decrease in population. The particular agenda of why a poster is using the numbers doesn't really matter at that juncture. Afterall, the number speak for themselves.

I mentioned already i don't use x-fire, if mine presence don't get counted by X-fire how i would believe in that numbers . Our whole clan decided after problems with x-fire in another MMO to not use it.
IMO the X-fire population in Darkfall is even too small to value tendencies like increase or decrease. If for some reason a clan with 70 members with an heavy x-fire using behaviour joins or leaves DF it would double or void x-fire numbers
You may be also surprised about my thoughts on the real total numbers. i don't mind them. And here comes how i interpret these screenshot from OP. Total numbers etc. are abstract numbers i will always work and share content in the game with a limited amount of people that will be a fraction from these total numbers.
OP picture show 41 people on one side and there are people on the other side too. That is not a small number of people sharing content (in these case a Siege). Ok i understand the chances will be higher to meat more people if the total number is higher. But looking at these screenshot i am not concerned about that yet.

Haters is not a term used exclusively for people who dislike Darkfall. That is not a Darkfall specific term. Someone with a hostile agenda. There are plenty of DFO fans with hostile agendas. And for every step forward, you take 30 back. Darth, I have read every word. I have reposted each syllable for you. You are also adding more to my statements than are there. I said haters are on all sides of the fence. Do you know what that means? Do you comprehend these words? It does not mean all DFO fans are haters. It means, plain and simple, that DFO fans can be haters, just like DFO critics. DFO fans are not exempt from the "haters" tag just by the virtue of being DFO fans. A hater is a hater is a hater. If a DFO fan hates on another game, he/she can be labeled a hater. If that same fan hates on someone because of their race, sex, skin color, or whatever, then they can be labeled as a hater. This is the same whether it is a WoW fan, DFO fan, Eve fan, or even Hello Kitty fan.
