First game (against the US) you had the worst goalie in the World Cup. lol. We would have scored so many more times if your Def wasn't as awesome as they were. He was hardly ever in position to stop a goal if the Def was lacking.

How do you quantify "fans" ??? Someone who calls themself a Soccer fan here is probably someone who played in high school or watches a Barclay Premier league game a few times a year and can recognize Messi and Ronaldo's pictures.

Anyway AR is torning Mex. apart atm (2-0 1st half) so this should lead to an interesting game vs Germany.
Why does soccer not have a video goal review? Getting a clear goal taken away from you can sometimes change momentum. When you have bs like this happen, it's just really disgusting.
Argentina is looking really good. They might just take this thing. Germany is good, they trounced England, but I do not think even they will be able to stop the Argentina team with the way they are playing right now.

The English goal that would have tied the game was clearly stolen. It just once again shows the weakness in the officiating of futbol games. Germany may still have won, but I bet the English would have played a better a match if the goal had stood. It must have been heart breaking and demoralizing to see a goal disallowed due to a blind ref.

After the poor showing of officiation in the Argentina vs Mexico match and the England vs Germany match , it seems enought people have finally said enough is enough and Blatter apologized to both Mexico and England for bad calls made by refs and promised to look into vid replays and better training for match officials in the future.
Nwtherlands beat Slovakia 2-1 and Brazil beat Chile 3-1 yesterday. Today Paraguay vs Japan and the real game to watch is Spain vs Portugal. This should be a good game - at least I am hoping it is. Portugal is playing some good futbol - so let's see some goals!

Jap v Par ended in a shootout with Par taking the game. Japanese hit the top of the goal on one of the kicks. The guy was a Def and has had 0 goals in 57 games.
Wanted Portugal to win as Spain dived (flopped) left right and centre in that game. One of their players also conned the referee and got a player sent off.
Well I must say that PY - JP was one of the most boring game I have ever seen, very disappointing in particular for JP.
I enjoyed the other game although Spain clearly deserved to win but with a mix of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid defenders, it was relatively easy for them to neutralize Christiano.
Still betting on Argentina, with Spain or The Netherlands right behind.

They have to play Uruguary next who just lost their best player because he got a red card. This is football so of course Uruguay might surprise everyone but it is pretty safe to assume the Netherlands will be in the finals.
Now Germany and Argentina will have to play against each other. The winner will probably have to face Spain which is the current European champion and ranked number 2 in the world. The road to the cup is still very long for both of those countries yet you make it sound as if its going to be a cakewalk, which isn't the case.
