reason is they got tired of wipe spam, you get ban in irc etc. they said they wont wipe and thats that.
But I thought you guys followed EVERYTHING I have ever posted (or thats what another guy said)

Yes.. I can see where having 50% of the playerbase screaming for a server wipe could be annoying for them...

obivously they dont need/want wipe you have to draw a line somewhere this is clear case imo they choose not to wipe and dont want to hear more about it.

The developers do not know how to fix it. They will just sweep this under the rug also, or thats what I looks like what will happen here if its legit.

Those results are interesting and appear to correspond to other information.
My game account forum name is Gratus. The last poll I put up on the subscription forum revealed 40% not renewing past the free 30-days. With this most recent insanity caused not just by the Steel exploit, but by SV's response to it, it makes sense that 40% would increase. So 50% voting for a total wipe is likely comparable to how many are not intending to renew past the free month. Just a theory, but seems to make sense.
The good news for the die-hard fans is in a matter of a few days the only players remaining on the subscription forum will be the die-hards and they can tell themselves how great the game is and SV is all day long with a lot less people rocking the boat.
Again, I feel bad for any new gamer who happens upon that site and buys the game not understanding what we do. If they understand and buy the game, that's a whole other story and wish them the best of luck. It's any deception that concerns me, usually not even intentionally done by the fans but a projection of an illusion. I genuinely don't understand the resistance to fraping and showing videos of the "fun" players are claiming to have. A video is far more credible than a series of words on a message board.

Wow.. you should go look up my old posts. I said the same thing almost word for word. I think I said something along the lines of.. if a picture is worth 1000 words a FRAPS is worth 1000 posts
This was in reply to folks complaining about all the links to videos with people hacking at mobs that didn't move... or would warp away.. or NPCs that would spawn on top of each other becoming multiheaded hydras. I simply asked for them to FRAPS what they thought was a great part of the game. Sometimes beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people like green.. some like blue. Neither is wrong. I was just curious to see exactly what was considered "fun" by some.

This game is the biggest disappointment of any game I've followed. I always had a feeling Aion wasn't gonna be good, but it is very playable and polished. WAR was a disappointment as well but I bought based on reviews. Everything looks terrible, even after they show pics of how nice the graphics were. Its pathetic. I mean, seriously, have a vision for a game and rules and most importantly MONEY before developing something.
it is really sad, wish the fans would see the truth and stop being blind to the fact that the game is probably going to shutdown soon.
personaly i dont care enough to start instaling new programs spend my time for free just to show people what i mean realising not everyone likes the same things and its not my place to shove this game down peoples throats i just dont care. im having fun ingame thats enough. then thres frapsed content on site called youtube it is enough to look it as reference material if you interest enough to purchase this product.
seriously if anyone takes advice based on people from message boards alone then i dont know what to say.. also i think your concern is bit weird i mean why ?
You will do everything you can to defend it but then if someone asks you to make a video you decline. I don't understand.

Dupping can have serious lasting effects on a player driven economy, I don't play MO so I'm not up to speed on their economy set up. However, if it's based on wealth (like most player driven economies), dupping is a serious issue. That can adversely effect a game for life (SWG anyone?).
