And AoC and Aion were both pretty good games. Just because you don't like it does not mean the rest of us wont. Tired of hearing all the cry babies talking about how this is fail and that is fail. Are people gonna play gw2? Yea , I'm gonna play gw2 , why? Because it will be free upon purchase. Also, I like what I have seen, but mark my words. NO NcSoft game is gonna hold the attention of that many people, when you play the game you will find out the hard way. There will be grind, grind, and more grind. There will be high costs that you cannot afford unless you are a credit farmer. You will be considered a scrub by most players because one guild will have control over everthing. Guild Wars 2 is an NcSoft game? Am I not right?

You are so correct. I really think the haters who become trolls on a certain game forum are nothing more than people who play a particular game that have somehow become scared are insanely jealous of any other game that has the potental of becoming a big success.
i guess they feel like whatever game they are playing must be the biggest or number one. they must feel threatend that maybe some real life friends or other's in their game community may be talking in general chat about leaving and trying out TOR, and their perfect little funhouse will come tumbling down.
Kinda sad really, that someone who has no interest in ever playing TOR will spend so much energy on a forum, instead of playing the game they are subcribed to.

For someone that posts in these forums on this site, you really don't pay much attention or don't look at the homepage much. I think the most hyped game for some time has been GW2, not TOR. As well, this game even though hyped has had many detracters and naysayers since it was announced unlike GW2.

most of the clowns bad mouthing ToR are complete frauds , they will be right there the day the servers go live creating their first character and ready to go out into the world to fight for the empire or the rebellion just like the rest of us... trust me, like i've been saying on these forums for a while now, if they really were so happy with "their game" they would be playing it, not wasteing valuable play time on chat boards makeing up stories about a game they have no intention playing. obviously they r full of it..

as one who has done everything above that you described, from beta to playing (i have pretty much beta'd everything, even the old eq when you had to have the disks shipped to you to now) and playing games forever...i am still excited :P so your logic is flawed.

I beta tested the game, have you? I have videos I fraps on my hardrive. Of course I am not gonna post them for the world to see. I am waiting for the release of the game when it is not a violation of the NDA

This is exactly the reason that SWTOR's weak NDA is useless. Posters like the last guy allowed to claim to be in the beta but not able to post proof. So basically, write your name in the snow all you want, I could care less. When I beta test, like most normal mmo NDA's, I don't reveal anything, period.

It's been shown (linked) that testers are alowed to disclose they are testing, they just can't say what they are testing/seeing at the time.

i have done a few betas over the years myself.. i also spend a fair amount of time re searching the games i am going to beta, or possibly purchase in the future... i have no idea if the finished product of ToR or DCUO or LoTR will be good, bad ,or just blah!!, but i dont pretend to know and offer up baseless opinons as facts.. i am not a fanboy, if u bother to read any of my previous posts u will see that, i am just baffled by the amount of time someone would put into bashing a game that isnt even close to being released. i personally have played games on here the were horrible, and have never felt the need to go on their forums to bash them. i see games being hyped into the ground that look stupid as hell, but i have never even comented on them. i have been told that these people are just trying to discuss the games in an objective/ exchange of ideas. but they refuse to actually read the reviews, hands on reports, dev statements, or any officially released information while promoting false statements as facts... u dont have to be anticipating the game, u dont have to want to play the game, i just dont understand the amount of effort being put out in to bashing any game. also.. if u really are the "experienced" gamer u say... then u should be aware that all games from any company progress in development from one game to the next. WoW is not blizzards first attempt.. Aion is not NCSoft's first attempt, AoC is not funcom's first attempt... these games can be traced back to previous attempts that the developers learned from and tried to improve on.. also, as my previous post said, these companies have also put together more diverse develpoment teams n in order to maximize new technologies and creative ideals to hopefully change the way they were doing games in the past, building on the good ideas, and creating new ones to replace the ideas that didnt work. i dont care if any game succeeds or fails. i dont care about the "next wow", i dont care who leaves a game or stays.. i just want to find a game that is fun to play and is worth my money. i will play LoTR till DCUO comes out... i will play that till ToR comes out, then i will play that till the next one that interests me comes out.... there will always be a "better " game on the horizon, so why waste ur time being negative on a game u have never played? I guess " haters" have the right to spend their time anyway they choose, and i will continue to waste my time trying to get them to realize that a construtive conversation about what could be, can be more fun and informative then what wont be or isnt.
