They could alternately just send Grow Your Own Sylvari kits. Postal workers are notoriously bad gardeners so they would never understand how to grow the sexy plant girls, they would probably end up growing a rampaging Oakheart instead. So its a win-win: if the postal workers hijack our CE swag, he gets mauled; if we actually get our swag, we can get out love-slaves (also, not get mauled by charr).
We havn't seen the revamped sylvari yet, it might turn out nasty anyways...
All CE owners could end up looking like Al gore (you know like you have a wooden stick where the sun don't shine, if anyone seen the old celebrity death match when weird Al pulls it out....

This is one of my favourite posts ever, largely because I find myself unable to tell if the poster is serious or not. It is either really good, or very terrible. Either way, I had a laugh.

It's only revolutionary if sever v server PvP lets us go gank other game's servers - I'd very much like to go to a WoW PvE server and gank the lot of them.

I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.
How 'revolutionary' is GW2 going to be?!?! Not very...honestly, the devs have taken a vow of poverty, so either they are enslaved or stupid, neither goes well for programming. Sure they do it 'for the love of gaming', but honestly, there's loving your pets, then there's 'loving' your pets. The former is unhealthy, the latter is illegal in all states in the US north of the Mason Dixon line, south of that, looked down on it very harshly. This unhealthy non-use of a $15/month subscription alone should show you that this game is being written by people that probably don't know how to program anything more than a simple do loop.
Let's look at combat...'revolutionary'? Sure, count how many times you roll around in the dirt. Allows for a real feeling of dignity when you finish that battle, doesn't it?
Crafting? Pashaw, it would only be revolutionary if the items I crafted in game turned into a monthly check so I could pay my bills and play WoW full time! Otherwise, it's making non-existent shinies for rl shiny lovers. How shallow is that?
Races? Lions with horns, humans, plant people, short little obnoxious things that know it all, and large, overly gregarious drunks? I can see any of that at a day at the zoo while taking a mild sedative.
Hell, the game still has a map!?!? WTF?
Finally, these Durpy Encounters>!>! What's so special, hell when I play my friends say let's go over here...I ignore them and go over there...don't think this'll change that behavior at all! Seriously, most hard core gamers are solitary, orange fingered cheetoh eaters, who really hate other people (verging on rl sociopaths). Why do the devs think these people would ever step up to the plate to do anything to help others, particularly if they are NPC's?!? NPC's=things to watch die in amazing ways.
Anyway, the only reason I might waste my money on this game is if I could listen on vent as all the people that are on the hype train come into game, play for exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds, then hit themselves with a large mallet in the groin for being suckered in once more by marketing!
I find it incredibly hard to stomach the idea of handing over my hard-earned dough for a game that promises revolution and is not going to run on a holodeck (included in the box price, ofc) in my living room.
Even if there were a holodeck included I'm not sure I'd like the idea of Norn (even virtual ones) trampling over my sofa.
I guess I'm just one of those "hard to please" types, maybe I'm even (shock!) burned out on MMOs altogether....
It's the second decade of the 21st century, where the hell is my virtual reality ANet?!
So you guys saying GW2 won't vacuum my apartment?? BLASPHEMY!!!
No. I believe we are saying it's going to suck so hard it not only would vacuum your apartment, but it will suck harder than the black hole that the MMO game industry has become, thus imploding the whole game genre, never to have anothr MMO be created ever again. Yeah that pretty much sums it up.
I can see where this thread has started and going, and i am to be frank dissapointed as it is still using 0's and 1's to derive the entire program I want a new number like 2,the program sits and thinks for awhile before making it's next move.Well come to think of it,the title has the number 2 in it hmmm.
I want the chaos theory,i want programs that can think for themselves no more open and closed commands.
There is only one person who can polish this game properly......PAUL !.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
To me, anything short of being able to plug the game directly into my brain is just short of criminal. I want to be able to play it in my mind while going about my daily activities. That way when I get stressed out by work or the kids, I can just go kill something....with my mind. What a disappointment.
You want me to pay to play a game I already paid for???

Okay, I think people are starting to get a little silly here, and missing the real point of this thread, which is to complain about the BIG SERIOUS problems that Guild Wars 2 has. I feel I should draw attention to a few, so devs can hopefully fix these obvious bugs.
First off, what's up with the teleportation? When I'm getting my elementalist over to meet my friend's necromancer so we can fight a dragon and get a new fiery dagger, I don't want some mumbo jumbo hocus pocus magic like teleporting being involved. I mean, that is so unreal and well... magical, it totally breaks my immersion. You hear me Arenanet? Keep magic out of my fantasy games, you're ruining my immersion.
I've noticed in some of the videos that some monsters are one-shotting people, and a lot of people seem to end up needing to be rezzed. Sometimes, the reviving people even end up getting killed trying to help out. This is ridiculous! The game would be a lot harder if the monsters had a really hard time hurting people. Rezzes are easy mode, so having so many people dying is counterproductive to difficult game design. Ideally, no monsters would be able to kill anybody. This is the problem with not having a tank. The game will be a lot more dynamic if the monsters always hit the same person, and it'll keep people from dying, which indicates a much more significant difficulty level.
I would also like to complain that at PAX East there was NO ability to create guilds. For a game called Guild Wars, they certainly don't seem to be caring much about them. This is definitely an indication that Arenanet doesn't care about people socializing at all, since they don't even have guilds in the game! I call bullshit on their whole 'We're trying to build community' talk.

How can a game that has not been release ruin your life.
I love the melodramatic no lifer posts that pop up every now and again, but what concerns me is how people are incapable of putting the correct perspective on a game in development and differentiating reality from blurb.
I think this must be due to lack of real life experience and put it down to nothing to do with gaming, just individual logic and inability to reason.
A keen understanding between a game Development Cycle and Release and the changes that always occur should always be considered so as to not set imaginary false expectation in ones mind. Regardless of what the developer says.
