Hope they get some better server for their web page. I know there's alot of people on them atm, but very often they are slow. Was looking forward to play when the severs came up, but can't, cous i have to make a subscription
Not ended it at a time when they were taking down their website and servers.
The game is back up. People were warned so the blame go squarely upon the shoulders of those who procrastinated. It wouldn't have mattered if it had ended 24, 12 or 6 hours ago, people procrastinate and pay for it - then come bitch on the forums about it...another day, another MMO player.
How about not taking the website down during the game maintainance? How about stating in the launcher that when the game came back up, you would need a subscription to continue? Maybe even advising players to do so while the game was down, to avoid delays? During the six hours the game was down, people would have "staggered" naturally.
So yeah, now they've got a million people trying to subscribe at once, and that could easily have been avoided with a little foresight.
(it isn't slow for me - it isn't working at all. just hangs for a long ass time, only to give me a page not found error. and then when i try again, it logs me out, because it took so long.)
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
yep this is EA ( the game is epic and customers support and subscr sucks. sometimes they should really look forward. pretty sure i wont get into the game today.

Umm they has been saying on the website, on the launcher, and on Twitter for the past 2 days that after maintenece you would have to sub... so because lack of your perception you are complaining?
Either it VEEEERY slow or in the end it says, page not found
Anyone els experience it?
Yea their site is just shit.. I've never been a fan of forums that come down when the game servers go down. It makes it hard for people to get questions answered on crashes or maintanince cause they have to go thru 3rd sources.
And a secondary effect of their shit forum servers is this right here.. I have my few gripes in game but it sucks to have more shit to bitch about of their servers than of the actual game..
I'd rather have shitty forums to a game of course but damn.. I thought forum/game server tie ins were a thing of the old..
PM before you report at least or you could just block.
They could have staggered it by letting/forcing us to add a subscription plan when they sent out the early access invites.
And then get plastered with "THEY PICKED ME TO PAY FIRST, THEY JUST WANT THEIR MONEY THOSE FILTHY GREEDY WHORES!".
People need to do things for themselves and stop relying on other people/organizations to do it for them. It's called growing up.
Opposing to the having to poach the site to see if you actually can add a subscription plan, a simple mention when you register a sub=plan clearly stating billing will start at X would have taken care of that... And warned.. a mention somewhere on their forums isnt a warning. They did handle this poorly.
Comments
Early access grace period ended at downtime, so yeah...
Disgustingly poorly handled.
Add me on Steam!
Me and a Friend are Bad At Games
lol, its EA. enough said.
And how would you have done it?
It's borked. Trying to enter my credit card info in Firefox or the dreaded IE and it's timing out very slowly........
Lame. Forums are there too, but all frozen.

I'm guessing you guys experience the same as me
Wow how great.
There is currently no active supsription on this acount. active your acount here.
.....................................................................................................................................
on the other end it says 27 days left on your acount. So i cannot play until i give them my info...
This is really great.. The game has flaws and doing things like this will not make people enjoy your game....
omg EA/Bioware are destroying themseleves

When you can't debate a topic, attack someones motives. Got it.
always been like that in mmo's, in order to use the free month, you have to subscripe to the game. but i thought we had a month free, not 27 days

I agree. Players who had foresight are playing.

they have shown a rather large lack of ability to understand their consumers.
I was under the impression I'd put in my info this morning and be on my merry way playing the game some more.
Guess I need to put down the bong and work on my reading comprehension.
/rolleyes
well it is the 22 so 20 21 22 thats 3 days.
Well what i think is stupid is that ive bought the game trough origin. Hi you guys have my stuff already...

i would have let the users subscribe with entering the product code.

oh no, not the "monthly" thingy.
now everyone is in queue, billing will lol-crash
