i was originally going to get that as well, but i changed it to a 5700 ultra 128, for faster ram. im guessing thats gonna mean better framerates.

well...it depends. If you are planning on upgrading your graphics card for the next 

generation games and stuff then yes the power is handy indeed, but if you are just l

ooking for faster framerates for games like warcraft 3 etc....then you probaly wont

need a 5900. BUT you can never have "too much power"  . can you  give me you're s

ystem specs like all the stuff you have in it? thanks

i was looking at the 9800 se...

and i've heard lots about how it sucks...

so should i add another 35 to the 9800 se to get the 5900?

I went to my local fry's and was looking for a 9600se but all they had was the all-in-wonder 9600 and it was like 250.00 and i was like "Screw that" so i ended up getting the 9200, it looks great compared to the old vid card, i cant imagine what the 9800 xt looks like.

but which card should i get? should i wait a little longer and just get the 5900? or should i go ahead with the 9800 se as of now?

well if you really look into the details, the 5900 has 8 rendering pipelines while the 9800 SE has only 4. So that makes the 5900 almost 2 times better...i recommend the 5900 but if you can only afford the SE then its all up to you. I wouldnt recommend the SE though...definetly
