how about... no classes and not being able to see the lvl or whatever showing if you are stronger than another player. keeps ganks fown if the griefers don't know or aren't sure if they acan win easy.

Fair enough...Though I still sorta want the spells from the Coercer repertoire? I mean...I really liked playing my Iskar Coercer in EQ2.

After watching the future of online gaming panel and hearing Dave Georgeson's response to a question about a character being able to change to all classes, I think EQN will have a way for us to change to any class available.
honestly I don't care if it has classes or not. I just want it so that someone cant look at you and see your lvl or a weapon and see that it does low damage and then try to gank you. In other games I have played I have killed other players just because I can. Where as I would have thought twice if they were my lvl or waited till it was in my favor. Not always but at times. So Im sure I have have done it thousands did it before or after me the same way. Just thinmk it would cut down on the ganks and griefing if this was in. Though it might just make roving bands more popular.. lol

Would much rather have a skill system where you are free to make your own class and classes are just groupings of skills like Ultima Online meets Oblivion.

Dont even think about denegrating this post its merely here to make a point, what you would like / want to see dont matter, i would love to see the evil cat class, and is as likely as any other post on this... mind you the unicorn class would be intersting with horn of power

Smed's already said in one of the interviews that they are not doing a skill based leveling system. Wouldn't get my hops up there.
