Fast  travel ( especially teleporting to players) = no buy

I guess you are done playing MMOs then, because they all have some form of fast travel.

Dare I let myself actually become excited for this? I think I may just do that, they have been open enough and at this point my expectations I think are realistic. They are not the same expectations I had when I first heard "ESO" but those expectations were impossible toaachieve. Time to dig in a little deeper to ESO.

It looks very Elders Scrolls and  I can see it having an appeal to die hard Elder Scrolls fans.

Personally, I would not be able enjoy this game, due to bad combat animations, bland colors and irritating screen shake.

That highlighted part right there is one of the main reasons we cannot have good things. People get brainwashed into accepting low quallity stuff.

I m a huge ES fan, but damn I hated TESO, the combat sucked, IMO.

Looks pretty good overall.  Dark anchors do look similar to rifts but looked fun.

I felt that way about melee but ranged was awesome.  Think they just need to tweak melee some.

Well, Morrowind has fast travel. So does Arena, Daggerfall, Oblivion and Skyrim.

It is limited and in order to used it you actually have to walk up to the point that offers the service. You do not get a "developer map" and make your way across the world with a click.
