The game won't run on AMD graphics (6800XT). There is a long list of complaints, going back over a year.
Since the game is a crowd-funded effort still in alpha, AMD isn't going to put any effort into making sure the drivers are compatible. They can't be expected to make their drivers compatible with every crowd-funded game that hasn't yet been released.

There is a overhauled renderer in 3.18 that is on the open PTU (which will later switch to Vulkan from DX11), the crashing issues reported with AMD drivers from what I read are not experiencing the same issue in this 3.18 update.
