The waiting time to try it out seems to be of around 20 minutes >>>>
You mean the queue does not wrap around half the hall like last time?
And does not piss off the booths left and right because people could not access the other booths due to a solid wall of SC fans waiting for their turn ? ;-)
So while the livestreaming only starts tomorrow the preview day with the booth packed had already one very good reception, when people were expecting like last year they would just stick with 2.6 at the booth.
Some cool bits shared today flying the new cutlass:
How many players are active at the same time on their souped up convention demo?
15/16, 4 normal people rows with 3 PCs each, and 1 other on the end with the streamers. This is more locked to its own thing so the performance is easier to achieve as the proper full build continues dev.

Any photos of the packed booth? The shot I saw had maybe 20 people in it, if that.

Are they playing in the same instance together or are they spawning in their own instance for increased performance? What does "This is more locked to its own thing" mean?

Watch the Twitch stream
especially the fourth picture in the lower left part. Shows the long line waiting outside the booth. The 20 people you see are those sitting at the computers and the first 5ish people at the head of the line ... those that get the first free computer.
Would you say that they have a lot less people this year than last year when "they had such a long queue that other stands were complaining" and stuff?

That's the size of the booth really, it's always packed by itself. Comparing to last year they have a bigger booth with more PCs, I think last year was 6 (plus 3 for streamers), now it's 12 and 3 for streamers.
From the queue the line also goes back both sides, say the Twitch booth ain't so happy lol
Playing together on the same local server, so yeah it's easier for performance, as this is a booth demo they also reset it every 15 minutes every time new visitors roll in, as of locked everyone spawns in Daymar moon, and while we see Crusader and can leave the atmosphere and such, QD is disabled.

Queue length means nothing.
At times, during GamesCom, all booth's have a queue that blocks other booth's, it is normal, even for the none game play booths.
Only SC fans would try to spin it as though it is something that only happens to the SC booth.
A creative person is motivated by the desire to achieve, not the desire to beat others.
Gamescom is the conference of queues, that's where you spend most of your time if you want to try out anything really. So it is pretty normal, their queue turns to the back of the booth from both sides. So it's 12 new visitors in every 15 minutes.

You should see how much the streamers were trying to pretend they were having fun. Granted though there's not much to do... hopefully the full 3.0 will try and fix this.

I like how they have 3 cameras showing the same guys sitting in a row, makes me feel like they're actually sitting in a cockpit!
Also, feel free to spread the word and tell your friends to watch the stream with the following link:
See you in the verse!

Also this, the endgame of immersion I guess haha

For demos of a few minutes for a game like this and people who never played it before, the first experience is figuring out controls gg
