If Roberts and Smart are the generals of 2 opposing armies, I pick Roberts any day.
That's really how you see this, isn't it. You think people who disagree with CIG practices are all on the same team against you.
That is the problem, they can't take the blinders off. Sad really.
Yes, I am the polarized one, when it is the DS smear crew that started unfounded claims, failed legal action and a blatant smear campaign on an unreleased game.
I have no delusions about SC, ofc it wont be exactly as stated on conception. That is called reality and happens in pretty much every single title produced. But to shout about mis appropriation of funds without any legal proof, exploitation of the development process and slow development, despite the fact that it is totally on par with similar releases (not to mention the very principles of free market capitalism, aka consumers choice) is unacceptable imo.
If the game launches and it is a mess then I will be right here with you people condemning Roberts, but until it does launch or is officially canceled any adult would know that the crap you guys spew about SC is completely unfounded and just blatant trolling.
Can someone please point me to where Chris Roberts was the head guy that called the shots on a game released under his name.
Now he did release a movie and what I saw was a film that bombed. Other than that I do believe Star Citizen would be his first.
Could someone tell me somebody who made a AAA game who called the shots? WTF is calling the shots anyway? Honestly, the complaints have been that CR is too involved and there have been many reports of him being involved too much with the games he's released. Please! If you're going to make an argument, at least don't contradict what's already been said before. Honestly, in a large game, if CR is the bottleneck, that's a problem. Also, I don't think that there has ever been a game with his name on it, like Sid Meyers'..... Everything. If anything, he should be delegating. He shouldn't be involved, because he should be too busy with the business side to be intimately involved with the development.
Calling the shots means the person can cut/add/redo anything he wants and then lead it to release. He has never done that and in fact he was told no on many things he wanted to change in WC and FL. So the answer is to this day, CR has never released a game. Its all out there just have to go read it. Oh and it was said way before DS.
"Sean (Murray) saying MP will be in the game is not remotely close to evidence that at the point of purchase people thought there was MP in the game." - SEANMCAD
If that hideous cheerleader pic didn't make this thread stop I don't think anything can stop it. But serious it doesn't matter if this game every releases cause it can't touch the amount of people that have already been entertained on the forums . Thank you pro SC and anti SC groups for your dedication to both of your causes . you all have thoroughly entertained me for countless months (even a few wife aggro's for reading in bed late at night cause I want to see someone's
rebuttal). Sincerely a fan of both sides that has ran out of popcorn!!!

Ok, you copy/pasted and didn't go into any great detail on each project whether his contribution was significant or... less. When I asked the question, I said I wouldn't mess with you about it, and I won't. I can look up this list, however, as well as anyone else and it doesn't tell an entire story, nor does his record legitimize his position on a project the size of SC. He should have hired someone directly under himself to make sure the project fairs adequately. That's all I'm going to say about this.

Bad troll, go to bed.
Actually you never answered my question. pasting all that means nothing. You really should read up on CR. he isn't who you think he is.
Only chance you guys have of a game coming out is all in Erin's hands. Personally i think it is too late but time will tell.
