They jumped in at the wrong time and they're jumping out at the wrong time.

Tim Cook is no Steve Jobs and Samsung is fucking themselves over by trying to go as proprietary as Apple. This would be the best time to ramp up innovation and marketing, but for some reason Microsoft never goes full tilt with their introductions. The put products out and if they don't run away with their competitors, then they scream uncle and back out.

I owned three Samsungs until the S6 when they decided that we aren't allowed to open the phone anymore without breaking the warranty. Now I'm back with LG and extremely happy with my decision.
Got to love the interweb "experts" apparently this site is full of them.  Its amazing people like this, the OP and a few others actually think a MULTI BILLION dollar company is going to come read a post by some random poster who is probably more qualified to be a Walmart greeter then hold any position at Microsoft or even Best Buy for that matter.

Listen just because you owned three Samsung phones or an LG doesnt make you 'expert' on Companies like Microsoft, Samsung or even a local dollar store.  Clearly  Microsoft and Samsung  are doing just great without your 'advice' aka clueless banter.

I am with you, wife uses our tablet, I lounge with chromebook, PC for big stuff.

that said, I wish I got a tablet with win 10. Chromes' is is too limiting.

Which is why I have a desktop as well. If I am going to play games, create a wonderful web application (which is my proffesion), or open up Photoshop just because I can but never use, then I use a desktop because I am not about to do ANY of that laying on the couch

I would agree for 85 % of the time, but there are times I am travel g, can't share the PC, and others where a 10-12" windows 10 tablet would be really nice.

I had a Nokia Win8 smartphone before.. It was one of if not the best smartphone I have used. I thought the interface was perfect for a phone.

Now though I believe MS will have better success once they launch a Surface Phone. That branding will help a lot since their Surface Tablets / PCs are amazing and popular.

    agreed.

what is nice about all these different devices is that one really can customize to ones needs. Case in point, I dont travel until I am taking my RV with me :)

not out of principle I just dont need to travel for work so for fun I have an RV so it makes sense
