But that is so completely arrogant.
I'm suggesting a lock at this point.
Get used to it. The "cool thing" nowadays is to be liberal and hate Bush (not saying I like or hate the guy, just that a lot of people are hopping on that bandwagon for all the wrong reasons).
Sometimes I sigh when I watch TV, because all of the good entertainment shows are blatantly liberal nowadays (especially The Daily Show, which used to be pretty unbiased). In fact, the only good "conservative" show on TV is Everybody Loves Raymond.
I hate Bush because I'm an union man, not because I listen to Punk Rock. The media is split, CBS and FOX all 100% conservative, NBC and ABC more liberal. Serien, if you don't like it, then don't comment and look the other way. Sorry if I offend people, but that what I love about this country, I can.
BTW thanks for the warning MMORPG.com mods! I got the biggest laugh, I get a warning for "offending rednecks" that made my day.

Different strokes for different folks.
How many animals have you relocated by the way?
I live in an island, Terceira Island to be more exact, i only have one native animal species, a Bird of prey, Its protected and holds the admiration of our whole archipelago.
As you can see, we dont get amny chances to relocate much of anything in a small island
My point was that instead of resolving our problems with violence, we could all try a little harder to solve them peacefully and take in consideration that those those animals we kill suffer pain.
Dolphins believe that it is their "Manifest Destiny" to conquer the world.
Dolphins, of course, live in the ocean and they even admit that they are the kings of the sea in the theme song to Flipper.
We hope that this explains our point-of-view and that you, the reader has been open-minded enough to cast off the myths of your childhood and that you see the truth. You must ask yourself at this point in your life what is more important, the human race or the dolphin.
After reviewing this website, I'd have to say the dolphin...

I love hunting, I love hunting with rifles and I love hunting with bows. Killing something with a bow just gives alot more satisfaction then killing something with a gun.
Iceblademan, not everyone who is a vegetarian is a supporter of PETA. Your generalizations are getting the best of you.
I like your logic too. You say animals are made to be killed then you say people need to die. Which is it sir?
Badhawk, I must have missed the preaching. I could give two shits if anyone eats meat. Including you. Have fun in the Marines! I'm sure it will be all kinds of fun!
Serien, I like how you call for a lock when republicans get offended while vegitarians have been bashed pretty good in this thread for awhile now. By the way, the Daily Show is hilarious. The fact that you don't like it only increases my appreciation for it
I find it disturbing that ppl would take pleasure in killing, taking a life is nothing to be proud of, when isee someone with a stupid grin on his face over the corpse of a bear, a deer or an Antelope, it makes me sick, all life should be respected.
If we need to kill other living creatures for food, be it vegetal lfie for those of us that are vegetarians, be it fish for those of us that eat fish, be it meat fo those of us that eat meat, then we kill and we take what we need to survive as other animals do in nature, but to kill for sport or pleasure?
Completely agree Kem0sabe. Like I've said, I don't care if people eat meat even though i disagree with the methods used that creates said meat. That said, it's not my place to tell people how to live. But killing the bear for the sheer sport of it seems just stupid. You can call me a PETA supporter, a greenie, or whatever other stereotypes you want, but that doesn't change anything.
There is something inherently wrong with people that believe that killing for sport is somehow rational. In times long ago, it was necessary to eat, but haven't we progressed beyond carrying clubs?

Well...it is not a competition. Peoples where saying that only humans understand this or that. Gorillas can learn the mute language, and dolphins have been witness to share hunting with fishermans in some case, which benefit both side, but mostly the fishermans(In Mexico).
It is easy to denigrate animals and favor money friendly decisions(hunting). But maybe you just didnt realize that this shared intelligence can be used for a greater benefit? What if with their brain structure, the dolphins would be able of a form of reason we cant? They clearly outmatch the wolfs/dogs and share the same ancestors.
Humans, play with dolphins for centuries if not longer. Do you see how dolphins help those fishermans on the Nationals News the other day? How they often chase sharks away from where we lazily swim and enjoy summer? Of how carefully they swim around us? I think you dont understand the scope of the bond we share with those ''animals''.
Did you see how the ''angry'' dolphin scare a human swimmer the other day? It took the human by the leg, could have sever it, but didnt, it bring the human a good 10M undersea, could have drown it, but release the human, and it could easily have come and ram the human should he have wanted to kill, but he did not. If this was not a desesperate warning(ultimatum like), I wonder what else it could be. I would bet he stop because the others dolphins around must have told him to stop, not like any of us understand their speech in that supersonic wave thingy. Unless it was a teen dolphin and he was playing a little to rought, which is also possible.

There is no rationalization, explanation, or excuse of any kind that can justify the killing of another living creature for sheer enjoyment. People that do need help.

And the only reason you're entitled to that opinion is because people killed people that would have killed you for stating it :P Kind of a wierd paradox don't ya think?
You're all entitled to your beliefs. This is the beautiful thing about free thought and free will. But you can't tell people they cant hunt or you run the risk of those people telling you that you dont have the right to free thought. Remember the people that hunt have guns and practice at killing things. There has to be a balance in everything. Hunters don't just go out and kill everything they see these days. The local conservation departments set how long hunting seasons last based on numbers of animals that need to be killed to maintain a balance in the ecosystem. Although i couldn't kill an animal i see the need for the balance.
Currently we have a local town under siege from deer. 100's of deer running through yards and streets causing accidents and threatening children. This was caused because the locality banned hunting several years ago. Theres a big debate going on about how to deal with it. Some people want to allow bow hunting and some want to poison the deer. I think they should trap them, kill them and feed them to the homeless and poor.
Lets also remember that the original topic was about a bear. Bear's are dangerous animals. Do we choose to leave dangerous animals in place where they can harm people? Sure bear's look all cuddly but lets face it if you get within a 100 yards and he gets angry you're dead. That guy that lived with the polar bears for 20 years found that out the hard way a couple years ago when a polar bear he had "known" for 10 years ate him.
Sure lets ban hunting... Let's ban religion while we're at it. Let's also ban the internet because it spreads perverse thought. Oh yeah and you can no longer eat tomato's because i dont like them. Then Kishe was telling me that Pizza was the work of the devil so no more eating pizza cuz kishe thinks its wrong - although there'd be no pizza without tomato's and no kishe if he really did believe in the devil because both things were banned! Doctors say that drinking more than 2 soda's a day shrinks your testacles so no more soda.
I feel like one day i'll be forced to live in a teepee made of hemp, eating tofu and drinking only recycled water. While some of you may enjoy that life.. i'd raise an army and build deathcamps for hippies - unless ofcourse the weed was good..
" Hunters don't just go out and kill everything they see these days."
Unfortunately, some still do. They seem to relish the thought of being able to kill from hundreeds of yards away with high powered telescopic rifles. What a thrill that must be to know that you can kill or wound without penalty or danger, how civilized. Please do not try and defend this practice as a "right". It is nothing more than cruelty and perversion, certainly not a right.
Wow this thread proved alot of people have alot of time on their hands. Go walk your dog, wash your clothes, eat something, build a treehouse, run a mile, buy a watch (so you can now watch you waste your time on this thread). All of you guys are whiners!
Professor Hubert Farnsworth - That question is less stupid but, you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

True im the 200th poster on this thread woo!
I like to go bow hunting thou that gives deer a greater chance then if I used a rifle.
Originally posted by Dinion What is he so happy about? That he can pull a trigger and kill something that doesn't have a chance? I hope he atleast feeds his children the bear meat and it was not just a prize kill. Damn savages.
Well, what did you expect him to do? Fight it with his bare hands?
Have you ever been hunting Dinion? I bet if you went and have never been that you wouldn't hit what you shot at. Just because you're using a gun there is still some sport there. I've gone dove hunting with people before who didn't kill one bird while others got to their limit and had to quit.
There's more to it than just pulling the trigger.
And why would you call someone who hunts a savage? Do you eat meat? If so then where do you think that came from. If not, then don't be so judgemental.
