A) I take everything on MMORPGCharts.com with a grain of salt. While I know he does talk with some indie devs here and there at e3 and so on, he also pulls as many, if not more, numbers out of his ass.
C) What does it really matter what Pirrg, or anyone for that matter, thinks about EQ2, or <your game here>? So what if he's misguided, or not? He's not going to singlehandedly shut down the game, and I doubt he'll dissuade anyone here from playing, so what's the big deal? Ignore him, and he'll drop off the page like an anvil in water.
Go kill 1000 drones pirrg and let us know when you are strong enough to kill tougher drones! lol...

I didnt kill NPC's in eve. I killed people like you, carebears and defenseless newbies. Then i berated them with all manners of vile mentation while relieving them of their worldly goods.
PvE is made for those whom have a void between their ears, i wouldnt engage in such repetitive and unchallanging activity.

Umm and now you don't play EVE because you said the boredom outwieghed the fun. So who has the void between their ears? Try EQ2 and you won't be bored you will have fun, although I doubt seriously whether you can get access to a credit card at all seeing as you said you liked the trial but didn't subscribe. You aren't playing anything right now so who should listen to you? LOL
Nah, the boredom is his excuse. He prolly got a bounty on his head for talking trash and ganking someones second account ship. Eve is nice like that, you just cant catch up on the veterans.
You really are selective arent you? Even if the trial was teh greatest thing given to man i wouldnt have subscribed as it wasnt the REAL GAME. It was a small handcrafted island brimming with content to lure and decieve newbies into buying eq2. Go to the official forums and read how many people are unhappy with the retail in comparison to the trial. One guy even preferes playing the trial over the retail game! hah..

Last night I did a nice little escort quest for blade faction. Dodging epic x 3 raptors, 10 story high giants roaming all around me and the captured merchant running like mad trough the desert. Avoiding huge whirlwinds that would put send me to instant death among the hugest spider I've ever seen. The relief of reaching the docks ... 8 gold and 7500 faction for blades. It was awesome!
Ahhh buzz words like carebear and newbies. Always a safe bet when you have nothing of substance to say, but want to sound like a tough, seasoned veteran.
I've played PvP games in my 10 years of playing MMOs such as Shadowbane, DAoC, WoW and EVE. Hell I've been playing MMOs since you were still running home crying to mommy because the kids in elementary school were picking on you (everday). I like PvP personally, but EQ2 has my attention for the time being because it is now a solid PvE game. PvP is not a requirement for me, but if it is done well, it's great fun.
Both PvP and PvE games have something to offer everyone....unlike yourself pirrg.

Such as repeatedly posting in a forum dedicated to a game that you A : Don't play and B : Apparently Hate! Seems you do "engage" in the above after all!
And PvP is for pre pubescent little F**k wits like yourself who feel the need, likely because of their real life ineptitude, to "beat" people in online games to achieve some sort of PATHETIC, VIRTUAL Ego trip.
Buddy, it's very simple, if you dont like the game, then F**K OFF. There is no reason to be here.

It's gotten a little old, people spouting off like this about PvP being for 'pre pubescent little F**k wits' and that people who choose to play on PvP servers do so only because they get beat up in grade school.
I would suggest actually playing on a PvP server sometime, cheif. On all the PvP servers I've played on, the overwhelming majority of the players there where in college, or, like myself, in their late 20's to mid 30's. While I'm well aware that there are junior high/high school kids there, they are not the teeming hordes that uninformed posters such as yourself make them out to be.

In case you missed it Coldmeat it was sarcasm. As a direct result of Pirrgs nice little rant on pve. A rant that most likely wasnt sarcasm, in case it was Pirrgs been very good at sarcasm for a very long time, and exlusivly write posts in that style.

It was more to do with Pirrg's insinuation that PvE is for people with nothing in between their ears. Sorry to say that when I get tells asking for duels, it is usually younger players (Or players that act young) with an E-penis to wave ... not saying it always the case but more often than not.

You dont play EQ 2 do you? All I get is tells from Numbnuts asking for Duels. If they are of a decent age or mentality you wouldnt know it to speak to them. I am far from uninformed. In my experience PvP is a good thing for games like WoW and Guild Wars and it's limited incarnation in EQ2 is not a bad thing. I myself have tried PvP and do not like PvP, that is my preference and I'll thank you to shutup with YOUR uninformed assumptions CHIEF!

Duels do not equal PvP. Particularly in what is a predominantly PvE game.

As for my insulting you, I would guess you mean my calling you uninformed. I'll stand by that one, as you did make an uninformed generalization about a group of people based solely on the fact they pvp. Unless, of course, you'd like to post some proof to back yourself up. In which case I'd more than happily edit my post.
On topic: Najena, and AB were at medium load this afternoon, at about 12:30ish CST. All others were light.

As I was starting a new character, the Isle wasn't terribly crowded, but there were say 10 others there that I saw. Might have been more further up that I didn't. Once I get done collecting all my gear from there, I will head out for Freeport. Updates on the hour, sobriety permitting.
Oh, and if anyone wants to send donations to Vasthule c/o AB server, feel free. Or just send me a /tell telling me how mean I am. That works too.
Update for the working man, circa 5:15PM CST. All servers at medium, except AB which is heavy, and the pos Station Exchange servers, which are light. Guess no one wanted to play on the Ebay servers after all.
I now embark on my lifelong quest to waste too much time.
Did you actually buy the game or are you just playing the trial? If you did buy it, you should make a new thread and update us on your characters progress and how you like and dislike the game. Im asking this because you seem to be the only unbiased eq2 player left in the universe.
