I'm in the closed beta.  Will be great if they get it nicely polished up, right now it's barely playable.  To be expected in CB and it has great potential, I hope it fulfills it.

It was just an example.  Terrain will be editable like Wurm online while there will be PVP.

What else should I have used? Mortal Online?

Updated the title, what do you think now?

It's only been in the spotlight for about a week, since that one guy brought it up... and what's stranger is that members of this forums I had assumed could never be satisfied, or those that have opinions that are generally worthless as a whole, are all over this game. You folks know nothing about it, yet it's slowly becoming a big name around here. Then again, that's exactly what these folks do all the way up to the moment when they actually play it and declare it as the world's tallest stack of shit.

Like people who played Darkfall and moved to Mortal Online?

I was thinking more down the line of Red Dragon Software. Now, I'm not saying this product is vaporware as I am more than willing to be on record stating that I believe there is an actual game in the works here.

    What I see here is

    - a feature list that reads like an MMO gamer's wish list

    - a game in developments that has no previews, no demos, no media walk throughs... nothing to show the promised gameplay in action

    - a pre-order for something that, to the best of our knowledge as a result of what has/hasn't been shown by the developers, exists only as a promise of content to come.

What's funny is that if a AAA title developer did the same thing, it would be called lies, scam, scandal and a money grab. An 'indie' puts up a pre-order under the same circumstances and you're a terrible person for questioning it. :)

Did anyone see the system requirement ? I couldn't find it on their website...how are people supposed to pre-order if they don't even know if the game runs on their comp ?

I can't find them either, though I never actually look for them when I buy a game.

The devs have stated the only features that they will even list are features that are at least 80% completed and in some working condition within the game. The game has a closed-beta that has been going on for some time, and they do not wish to garner hype by allowing an open-beta. They feel they would rather have a game that grows with its player base than have unnecessary features or incomplete additions to the game, thus overshooting what theyre going for.

They have my 40 bucks, thats all I can say.

Well, it looks really cool, but I for one am sceptical that this is a reality.  It very well might be a cool game but it does smell of a scam... that is not me saying that it IS a scam, just that right now the risk is too high for me to give them my VISA number.

I will be keeping an eye on it.  If you believe what they are telling you and want to get in first, then go for it, to me the reward of getting in now vs risk of it being a scam are not yet balanced.  If, in a month or two, the game is what they say it is and it works I will likely try it out.  As others have said, I hope it is real.

It's not on trial, it's simply being treated as if it were a scam until more credible information that proves otherwise is released.

If it is a legitimate MMO, great, it sounds like it would be fun.

There is currently however, more information pointing to the contrary. Personally I'm not going to get my hopes up about it until this changes. Blind trust is a good way to get yourself scammed, and many posters here are simply acting on common sense in relation to the scant information that exists concerning this alleged MMO.

I am super skeptical about this game. It sounds way to good to be true............If it is what it says it is I'll be the happiest gamer of them all.

Best of luck to the developers.

Thats a good way to look at it. I am not saying to trust these people. But bashing the game without knowing for sure is not a good idea. If you have doubts, then just wait, there's no point in bashing (which I am not accusing you personally of). Because if this game comes out legit, and gets a bad name because of what people have said before, I am sure many will regret it.

    Hey,

Darkrounge here also referred as the Xsyon fanboi.

This game is breaking it's way through the charts, don't compare this game with any other game because from my personal view it is different.

The aspects within the game enable it to break free from the press-observants and help withdraw the fear, which is not to underestimate the game by the way it looks.

The features in the game, as described in the features Navigation panel. Not only make the game show out, but also emphasize the developers skills in a menumentive way, never the less it has to be a "Must buy game of 2010. "

This game contradicts Fallen earth and any other apocalipsic mmorpg. It's positive features enable it to stand above the mmorpg ladders, suiting allot more viewers.

    I'd recommend it to anyone.

    Thanks,

    Darkrounge

No point in bashing when not much is known about it yet.

I had no idea of the existence of this game and whilst the graphics look merely adequate from the screenshots(I'd like to see the world in motion before truly judging that ),it's the feature list that is very intriguing  and make this one to watch and see if they can truly pull those features off and make it a fun game.
