What gets me is that I'm in a guild that others are playing and yet I have no access because my preorder date is 1 Dec (Sorry Bioware I'm active duty Army). So I'm going to assume that the majority of my guild will be level 20 or higher by the time I get my access.
All guilded players should have sameday access.
Assnine policy Bioware.
that wouldn't be fair, everybody behind the 1st man in your guild would get to cut the line. only way it could work is if the held your entire guild back till it was your turn. I'm sure that would make you really popular with your guildmates, lol
Another common sense and applying logic issue. Why have an official guild launch is it doesn't matter?
If you don't like a game don't play it, and quit running to MMORPG.com to trash it.

Yeah, but you could still have preordered 6 months ago unless you been spending the last 6 months in a war zone with no net at all and no friends that could preorder for you.
The best way however to get the guild start same day would be to decide to star when everybody has the game working, it is somewhat frustrating for the guys getting it first but still something most friends would do for eachother.
More "weight" should have been given to guilded players in my opinion.
This is probably the main subject/point of this thread, and in al honesty it makes alot of sense..
You put out this whole guild formation thing, throw them onto a pre-determined server but then restrict access through a funnel which would allow the un-guilded folks who pre-ordered early to over crowd the server that your guild was placed.. And then when you go to log on, you are not only behind your guildmates substantially, but you must lose the option of choosing a lesser pop server without hour long queues because your guild is already placed on the current one..
It was a strange way of doing this.. I know I know "real men don't cry" and all that jazz, but I am just stating a very valid point your "troll" had communicated..

It's almost comical to me how people can argue against what I see as a common sense and logical move with the arguement of "I ordered earlier".
If you don't like a game don't play it, and quit running to MMORPG.com to trash it.
I think the waves is smart but i'm also irritated because i want to play and my friend preordered it way before me and already got his code but i did not. grr!
I think they could have more waves and get more players in... but this is just me QQ.
Wait. Hold on here. Just a minute. I managed to get in tonight. AND I preordered back in late September. Just thought I would share that with those boohooing that they thought they were entitled to something more just because they may be military or part of some elite guild that has, at best, existed in SWTOR for all of two days, but yet neither took the time to actually read the game's website or even more importantly the FAQ about preorder, before preordering. READ ING COMP REHEN SION skills, guys. Learn it. Live it. That is all.

why? was common sense & logic not welcome in your world? most of the better trolls have no problem with it
You forgot to answer the question troll. Move along with your ignorant no thought posts.
K?
you didn't answer mine either, that's ok, I didn't really expect one, I didn't answer yours 'cause it made nos sense. You suck at trolling, btw. see ya around
Becuase it was ignorant, but I considered the source and your good.

if u r dumb enough tot pre order and not wait a few more daysthen i laught at u...
yeah, most of these people act like drunken diva's at an opening night, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY NAME ISN'T ON THE LIST!!! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM???" but, I guess I'm being harsh, I got lucky somehow & got in right away. I didn't pre-order till the end of Nov.
This is getting to be funnier then I thought. Acting like a bunch of children pissed while leaving a store that they didn't get a toy...lol
Game comes out on the 20th. Early access would be anything before that date. It's the 14th. For the love of god. Stifle. You were promised early access based on e date you preordered, nothing else. Go watch a few movies or something and wait your turn.

That's right puppets, accept mediocrity because thats what Bioware has always said you'll get ! You'll take it, and you'll like it, or the fanboys will have their way with you.
Literally . . . everyone is acting ridiculous about this pre-order ish. They said up to 5 days, and from the looks of it you will at least get 4 of those 5 days. But seriously people . . . it's only a few days. But back to the 4 days comment, they got up to October 17th today, they went through all of August, all of September, and half of October in one day. Can't people see that they will most likely do the same thing tomorrow? I don't know, I mean I thought these kind of things could be inferred--I guess not.

They do if they all bought their pre-orders on the same day..... Dec 1st was way too late.
Wrong, only a small % got in I ordered in early September and I havent got the mail.
I have to agree with this, get the whole guild, say a limit on 1.Dec
it sucks royal balls that they will be level 50 and I'm level 1 solo leveling like a tard..
I originally preordered this game based on the believe I was getting early access starting on the 15th December. Then a new communications is released indicating a 13th release with waves of invites.
If I read the EA correctly I was of the impression that they moved the EA back from the 15th to the 13th and decided to do waves of invites based on first come first served. However, I also understood these waves were only to occur up until the 15th then everyone else gets into the EA for the original 5 day period they announced. (I thought we still got a full 5 days for pre-ordering).
Is this not the case? i.e. the waves will continue right through the whole EA period now?
If this is true then what was the point of the early access if some people don't get the full original 5 days announced and promised for my pre-order?
This has got to be one of the most confusing communications from a company I have ever witnessed.
What part of """""UP TO 5 DAYS"""""""""""" do you not understand? Basically Bioware said you will have at least 1 day head start but may be as many as 5.

naw, I think most of them get it, they just need something to pass the time while they wait...and in this case it's bitching, moaning, complaining, & whining. oh yeah & ranting, you can really get the hours to fly by with a good rant
altho i initially tought the same, after rereading i got the mesage still pre-ordered tho.
its good to avoid launch
that very "Up To 5 Days of EA" preoder offer was on there preorder site as late as the 10th of december so knowing what we know now and what EA/BW knew months ago about the process to get into EA its still foul to not give preoders atleast 5 to 4 days especially considering the fact some will get 7.
imo they kicked off EA 2 days early to be better prepared to attempt to give preorders at the very least 4 days of EA.

I just feel like it's unfounded--and if you spend all your time doing that you are just going to create a preconceited hatred for a game that you haven't even played. Personally, I would rather go exercise and have fun times with my siginificant other(s), or spend time exercising with my significant other(s) by doing . . . things. Everyone just go find yourselves a siginificant other and go exercise with them, and then when star wars comes out you can dump their butt. Or not. And people complain about reading comprehension: "Up to 5 days" is not equivalent to "At least 1 day and max 5 days", it means that the maximum amount of time is "5 days" but there is no minimum, so in theory you can still get no head start without Bioware breaking their promise.

and what exactly would you lose in the unlikely event that were to happen, the $5 that you were going to give them anyway, big deal. a week from now you wont even remember that you were annoyed by this, you'll either be playing the game or you'll be back here complaining about whatever reason you stopped playing.
