Subscription page slow? Something cannot be slow if it doesn't exist :D

Was is hard to think to give time to players to subscribe, like until 31st? So servers would not be overrun by us poor lemmings. If we would have 1 week or so to subscribe, we would be able to play meanwhile?

This website has 'haha, screw you! we took your munies so you can go @$!* yourself' written all over it.

The problem is the wait time. There was information about the grace period but I guess most, including myself, didin't anticipate the waiting. I was lucky, (in a sense), as my detail were already saved but to get into the site took about 4 hours..luckily I had other things to do but checked back regularly.  Annoying indeed but I've experienced worse, (and better to be fair), in the MMO genre.

This looks like a job for....The Riviera Kid!

My Info was saved on the site as well since I upgraded to DDE but now I get an Error. An things were looking up.

The page you are trying to access is not available.

This is typically due to an incorrect URL, old content or Jedi mind trick.

This is the mesagge I get.

I agree with ArEf it is poorly handled.

How I would of done it? I would of done it at the end of the 30 days free which is payed for when buying SWTOR, by then many players would of resubed before the end of the 30 days and would of been less volume of people setting up subs by the end of the 30 free days =)

Every mmo requires a payment subscription, it's industry standard.

The only poor handling here is users being entitled and lacking foresight. Thousands are playing rigtht now becasue they did not wait and ddos the account site.

    Your fault.

Still doesn't change the fact that Bioware & EA should of been ready for this

^This and yes it may be our faults but I've been waiting for 3 hours now almost 4 I've had error's twice and its just silly that I have to wait in a line for the main site than wait again to log in than wait again for it to register which would mostly be an Error. EA/Bioware did great with the Staggered relelase but when I look back at Laucnh Week this will stand out as the failure, that could've and should've been avoided.

And to all those who say "its our fault" you guys miss the point completely, because you know what the point is?............

All this grief over A BLOODLY FORMALITY

Hate all of you bitching about it not working perfectly "which nothing in life ever does" when common sense tells you that people from EVERY server is trying to get to the same page as you. Thats alot if you still need a clue.

I finally got to to subscribe to the game  with using Mozzila Firefox browser where as IE would just take me to a broken link. But they should of had billing  and payment options available long before this so people would not have to go through all the hassle and headace.

Seriously? 4 hour wait to access a website just to enter a code? Wow, they really should have expected this and added more servers for the website. Obviously around 1 million were expected to try and subscribe today.

Queues for serving out wepages... is asinine.

Pretty sad that their web servers cannot serve out wepages in a timely manner. Very stupid to resort to this queue for a damn webpage bullshit. Figures though as they seem to have an infatuation with queues and "staggered" access.

I have been trying for 3 and a half hours to get my subcription info in . I sit in a queue window and then my user login window pops up. Put in my information and back to a queue window for almost an hour then asks for my login information again.

It takes a lot for me to complain, but this is just down right ridiculous. Whoever decided that having queues everywhere just needs to be shot.

This is absolute garbage. You are reading one SWTOR player who is SERIOUSLY pissed. A wait to enter a code on a website? GIVE ME A BREAK! I have already stayed in your horrible, HORRIBLE call center queues for over a day and now this is what I get from your website? Unbelievably bad customer service. You should be ashamed of yourself Bioware.

I have been lurking these forums for a long time, and playing mmorpgs for a decade. Never felt strongly enough about something to make a post about it until now. I purchased SWTOR and unlike many people who are complaining, I read the agreement and knew I had to have an active subscription to continue playing. I actually had an active subscription on the 20th, complete with all my payment info, etc. All of the action items on the account page were checked off neatly and I was enjoying the game.

Today I logged in to an error message informing me that I do not have an active subscription and cannot play. Go to the account page to see what is wrong... a que ... huh? For a webpage?? Really?? This is new.... I try to call their customer support line.... after 15 attempts with only a busy signal, I am greeted by a recording from the worthless producers at Bioware telling me that they are too busy to take my call, then unashamed, it proceeded to hang up on me, rather than put me in a que. That is, after of course informing me that they are working on the problem.

I jumped through all of their hoops amd knew what I was getting into, yet they still managed to screw up and under deliver on my game access. Are they really this horrible at their jobs that I have to go through hell just to get in to a game that I have already paid for? Let me spoon feed it to you Bioware, as you seem absolutely horrible at understanding what your job is.... when a customer actually takes the time to do everything you ask of them you are supposed to have a system in place that assures you deliver what you have promised. They have fallen short and I wish I could have my money back. I won't support incompetence, no matter what IP you attach it to. /rant
