What's interesting about The Repopulation however is that, given the sheer size of the map and how we have both playstyles fit together on the same map in an hybrid way, well that doesn't force you to compromise as much as you would on a mostly-PvE or mostly-PvP server.
After being a while without commenting on this forums, i had to stop by to proclaim that the level of shogazerism, short-sightedness and self-righteousness of some of the players will never cease to amaze me.
I think i'll start a petition right now for the inclusion of a "no-physical-contact-among-players" policy in the Premier Football League, i'm sick of those bloody griefers trying to steal the ball by all means!
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.
I won't sign the petition because I don't like those kind of things. Devs have to be free to build the game they want if you ask me.
EQ was built as a PvE game and had PvP servers and it worked well. I think most people who tried the PvP servers there will say that it was great.
If this game could set the game up the way the Devs with the vision want and then just flip a variable that didn't allow PvP on one server then I like the idea of them making a PvE server.
Even as a PvE player now I want them to make the best game they can, and then if they can fit in altenate ruleset servers I think that's a huge bonus.

Its just the lazy way of putting out an mmo. Making good pve content is harder than having just open world pvp where you just let players kill each other. This game will go nowhere. Have you notice in games like this the pve content sucks. Just another boring niche game to add to the market.
This thread is hilarious, anyone who is actually is playing the game would read these comments and laugh as so many are just assumptions. There already is a PVE server, only someone who hasn't played the game or doesn't understand it's direction of development would post such a silly thing as a "PVE petition".
