If DDO was excatly the same but was gothic horror styled and placed in Ravenloft or apocalypse survival in Dark Sun, I would have overlooked everything and played it anyway.

I've never played an MMO I truly hated. I detest the super hyperstylized cutsey asian grindfest item mall games that are everywhere these days but thats more a genre then a game in particular.
