Can't vote, there is too much missing. Some of the classic mmos should also be in the current poll because they are still current, have huge subscriber bases and still have dev teams working on them putting out new content every few months.
A great way for the game companies to make more revenue themsevles? Of course.
An easy way to develop a large number of lawsuits? Yep.
A sure way to ruin the in-game ecnomy for any game? You betcha.
Will it ever happen? Unfortunatly, probably…
Just a couple comments about what is mentioned above...

Ask yourselves this....why the hell are you arguing about who has a "tougher life" ...
And why do you "win" if yours is "tougher?"
Seems kind of backwards. I'd love to come on here and say something like ...I'm done with college, own my own bus…

Well what I do is just keep the userfiles that hold my individual information so I don't have to re-set it all in case I decide to go back to them, and then delete the actual game and all its files. This saves a lot of space.

He doesn't NEED an example to back up anything. There is nothing to back up.
Play the game you want to play and then seek out roleplayers within it and befriend them or guild up with them. Period.
