ya it worked great about an hour after suposed launch...1 am PDT played for a few hours with 2 rl friends...we all had a great time...not bad

i tried to force AA with ati CCC the standard way, and when i signed in to RIFT all textures were gone... all you could see was water...

im pretty sure there is a directx9 limitation where you cannot have HDR (high dynamic range) lighting AND AA on at the same time.... thats why AA is missing... need directx 10-11 engine to do both... so they chose good lighting over AA...

client is all updated.. servers are still down though... my client seemed to update fine if i just left it alone minimized.... it seemed to get stuck with no progress but eventually it finished...
