  • http://www.roma-victor.com/community/bb/viewtopic.php?t=7598&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 Read the bottom of page one of that thread and page two as well. It could be quite interesting for anyone who is worried about graphics.
  • No single person will be able to accomplish everything by themself, although you're thinking mainly about solo players finding the game hard to play it seems. In the above case you mentioned about making a spear, it would probably involve a lumberja…
  • You don't need any purchased money if you get yourself organised. It sounds like you are just looking for a free game anyhow. Although if you do choose to contribute, the amount needed to keep you going for the month is far lower than the monthly fe…
  • If you bothered to read it properly, you would notice that it never once says that you must pay to test the game. The preorder is so that those who take it will be able to play the game two weeks before it is sold to the public; being a tester is si…
  • Tribune Angusticlavian of the 33rd Legion, probably in charge of the supply train.
  • It'll be released when it's done; but RB think that it should be finished before the end of 2005. Any specific dates which have been given are made up.
  • The graphics are all turned to the lowest settings. They are giving everyone the same face for testing purposes. Have you even read anything about it?

  • There are more barbarians than Gauls. The Gauls were simply the tribes that came from what is now modern day France. Expect to see a lot of player barbarians in Caledonia (souther Scotland), whether they are Picts or otherwise; and also in Germania.
  • Roman land will be quite well policed, so you would be very unlucky for this to happen to you on a main road for example. If you're in areas outside of Roman control, you should really consider hiring some guards if you're a travelling merchant. Due…
  • You can find numerous guild sites by looking at the list of guilds in the Roleplay forum (although some of those are out-of-date), or here.
  • There is a considerable amount of interesting discussion and some more information about the game on the RV forums as well.
  • I'll be Tribune Angusticlavian in charge of logistics in the 33rd Legion once I gain my citizenship. We'll be stationed in Pannonia, and Legio Draco (the 99th legion ) may well be there too.  I have a feeling that any hostile barbarians there won…
  • At least try to understand how the in-game economy is going to work before you start commenting on it. There will be a limit on how much in-game money you can buy with real money per month, maybe around 20 euro; which, if you are lucky, would just…
  • nephillim; that was uninformed drivel. RV has been in development for nearly 5 years now. Its devs have been in contact with an ever-growing community for that time. Yet you call it rushed...
