Let's hope their general direction overall for balance updates is to throttle back a bit of the horrendous power creep that is ruining large aspects of the game. Be it PvP, WvWvW or PvE. The power creep is grossly noticeable and - most importantly -…
Specialization power-creep is a big problem in the game at the moment. There is no vertical progression gear-wise, but there certainly is specialization-wise.
The Steam release showed that whilst the community seems very helpful towards new pl…

Anyone here playing this?
I could not play this even in my wildest dreams. The combat and movement look way too difficult for a person whose skill with both mouse and keyboard are abysmal even …
Well, if the recent Heidel Ball (Sort of like an annual address from Pearl Abyss about BDO) was anything to go by, the game has been doing very well - in terms of new/active player numbers.
The combat looks quite fluid!
Whilst not a fan of pirate-themed 'stuff' in general, I'm looking forward to trying out the Corsair on the new seasonal server coming. All classes I've tried in BDO have been quite fun to play.
Additionally I…
It's good they're doing this. And I hope the subtext is that they're hoping to have the latency/server issues sorted out before any Steam release. For releasing the game there as it currently is I fear would be a bad idea.

Love that game, except for the jumping stuff. Yeah.. that huge.. very important part of the game for so many things. LOL.
Jumping never was a huge, very important part of the game, and it's hardly a part of the game any…
Probably can't go past Verdant Brink, the first zone in GW2's Heart of Thorns expansion. The wow factor of that place when first entering and being able to glide around in the massive vertical scope it provided, plus the new and challenging content/…
Great, This Festival is one of my favourites.
I think the events for the most part are done quite well, especially the Dolyak racing.
I'm sure there will be new things (or at least achievements) to attempt, after all the GW2 Achievement Window h…

What's P2W on it? Is there a tournament where money is involved? Otherwise, I'm not sure what that would be.
I have enjoyed the game, and only paid the initial think 6.00 -10 or whatever Steam c…
I've spent too many 1000's of hours in ESO over the years. I've had a break but tried it again over the last couple of weeks. One thing I thoroughly enjoy in MMOs is the grouping aspects of them (albeit sparse these days) and ESO provides this quite…

It's nice to hear. The animation-cancelling combat system isn't very good, it does indeed create a huge gap between the bottom and the top of players, leading to all sorts of other in-game, balance, and community issues.
I hope they continue w…
Ah EQ2, such fond memories. One day I'll install it again. I did love the house building/decorating. Always seemed there was so very much to do in EQ2, with a lot of events. That's Antonica pictured yes? I don't remember that castle off-shore, I'm g…

This should be the goal of all MMO's. It doesn't always have to be hardcore one way or the other.
No no no.
