Player Housing was actually first done in The Realm. Everyone had their own house in which to decorate however they wished.
Also, Instancing was also done first in The Realm, as the second post says.

I was confused by it the first time I used it too. I just learned to hit the green key once so the UI goes off, then hit it again while holding it down so that I can see the UI and I can use it for the /. I haven't found a way around it.

agreed, making a "news" story of bitching about a 10 year old game that has come 360 and is still thriving, without even comparing it to today's games makes no sense. It was a waste of time about nothing that relates to today IMO
