I was in the very end beta test for L2 and it was absolutely terrible. I heard a lot of really great things about that game and was completely let down within an hour of playing. I would definitely not recommend it.

Personally I'd much rather the game had entertaining content and was fun to play than be pretty to look at. I would say that, sadly enough, UO is a better game than WoW right now (definitely more entertaining to play endgame... and that's saying so…

This seems kinda silly to me =/ because my gear at level 35 was already good enough to keep me above the cap on both int and dex through level 50... which doesn't really give me any incentive to get new stuff =P

I can't find any up-to-date leveling guides... (anything written after 2004, a lot of the spawns have changed and so have the levels of the mobs at them). Any help would still be appreciated (i'm level 30 now but could still use suggestions)...

It will depend on the classes you play and how you want to level. Without Catcombs you will be missing out on the best zones to level in. You will also be missing out on the quests that give you the most XP. So, you will be killing mobs (probably…
