I just got done with an exciting 3 hour PvP session in EQ2. Sure it's got some problems, but it's still a blast and is right up there with anything out right now...and much better than WoW for PvP. Sorry, I didn't play SWG because Lucas is a hack so…
As much as I enjoy the fantasy theme and am looking forward to checking out Vanguard and Aion, I like the near-future military theme and both Huxley and Tabula Rasa have me intrigued.

Plus people are still voting for it, meaning that it is going up against more recent releases with better graphics and what not. The rating is just relative.
Neither are very casual friendly and not something you'd play for a long time. So if you like to put time into a character and would like to keep them progressing for a long time, I'd go with EQ2. Just check the trial. DDO is a terrible game imo.
