I'm in the same boat as you. I got to 73, and I'm bored out of my mind. I have no motivation to keep doing the same boring quests over and over. I've been debating going back to EQ2.

You guys are saying you want a death penalty? What kind of penalty are you wanting to see? To me, not being able to stay in battle and continue to slay some Order scum is a good enough penalty to me.

There is only a chat for what area you are in.

As far as the population goes, it all depends on what time of the day you were playing when you were choosing a server. Sometimes it'll say light load, but other times during later in the day it'll be medium/heavy.
