I think that seamless loading works best on games that hasn't got so much pretty graphics to load.
This is why it works so well in WoW but say AoC wouldn't work very well with it.
When the game gets heavy on the graphics you must have instancing…

It's even hard to get a group for the level 20-50 instances in WoW these days and that game has a very large population.

I can even give a pretty good "guesstimate" when WoW 2 will be released.
Blizzard have said that they will raise the level cap to 100 with expansions and the upcoming Cataclysm expansion that will be released in 2010 will raise the level cap to 85…
If the games were to be realistic as much as it can in a fantasy setting with medieval influences women wouldn't even be wearing armor as they would be demoted to cooking and cleaning.
But I agree that armor that leaves the belly exposed are prett…
It's not that the games are similar to EverQuest which they aren't and you would know this if you ever played it, it's that they are worse than EverQuest.
Online games have actually devolved instead of evolving which is pretty sad.
WoWs playerbase will shrink over the years untill WoW 2 is released and the cycle is repeated.
I think that WoW peaked at 11.5 million almost half a year ago and I haven't heard any higher figure.
I have seen some free to play MMORPGs that are very far from the themepark spectrum but not quite what some would call sandbox but they have been lacking in the graphics department so much that I stopped playing them after two to four weeks time.
