I've really been on the fence about this game. It seems interesting and the combination of survival into MMORPG seems fun. BUT, I still haven't bought the game, even on Steam's winter sale.
Why?
The reviews that talk about crafting. They t…

It is still an unfinished game so all of that is par for the course.
Is there a MMORPG that doesn’t have limited bag space? I don’t believe I’ve ever played one.
The mere fact that it's unfinished after so many years AND the…
It's odd to me when people say BOTH the following things:
- It's stupid when people like modern MMOs with fetch quests and kill quests in various formats. How boring!
- I love MMOs where there are few to no quests, amd you just kill the same mobs…

Looks, feels, and plays like a 20-year-old game. Think Everquest 2, but alpha.
Wha... why? Just, WHY?
Because games that play like older games seem to be better, more interesting? Not …
Pax Dei looks (visually) nice, but there is nothing to DO. It's like a less complete Conan Exiles survival, except you don't have to eat or drink. Honestly, I don't even know this game and its like should even be considered MMORPGs. It seems like so…
I think 2 things about this:
1. THIS IS GREAT! What a cool idea, and one that hasn't really been explored at all. It also helps simplify some of the inconvenient "survival" aspects that can get in the way of adventuring.
2. THIS IS TERRIBL…
Oh, it's a souls-like? I'll pass on that. Definitely appreciate the early info. I know those types of games are extremely popular, but I'm not into fighting the same boss for an hour straight.
That's probably not going to be any higher. The game looks and plays like it's 15 years old and offers nothing new to the genre. But I guess that's what happens when the entire reason you went into Early Access is because people quit buying your Kic…

Hey! We want to make same terrible content, not give a single shit about the game or our community and get paid for it. Answer? Union!
Brain-dead take. New…
I don't know why you guys slammed them, or are insulting the game. LOTS of people really enjoy the game, the story content, and continue playing it. And if you think unionizing is a problem, why don't you try working in a professional career where y…
I'm surprised no one else has put out a competitor to Champions or DC Universe in the last DECADE. People like superheroes. You'd think someone would have cracked that by now.

It's interesting how many responses to this are people that get motion sick with first person games. I don't think I know that many people at all who have that problem.
Well, I'm ANOTHER one. There are plenty of p…

Dual Universe
Dual Universe is an empty and boring "sandbox", devoid of content. I highly doubt this studio would try going that route. Most of those "make the game yourself, because we didn't" titles don't seem to do …
EVE Frontier looks and sounds like a bland, empty iteration of EVE Online. One where they didn't have to actually develop quests, stories, infrastructure (structure of ANY kind?), or improve on the visuals and mechanics of the original.
Serious…
Gaming has/had been a "quick cash in" entertainment genre for too long. Players are less likely to throw their money around, and the industry is FULL FULL FULL of hundreds of thousands of games. Most genres are packed, and there is little to no spac…
You can't enter an already established genre with a game that doesn't offer anything significantly different. Arena shooters, competitive FPS, MMORPG... You can't just make a clone and succeed in the modern gaming world.
