AGE of CONAN...Best MMORPG game to date!!!!

One word...AMAZING!!!!
This game really has it all together. It has all the elements you want in an MMORPG.
1) Spectacular Graphics
2) Excellent Content
3) NEW, FUN, and INTERESTING UI
4) Great backstory that allows RP guys to really get into game.
5) When the RANGER profession is taken down a notch, PVP will be FANTASTIC!
6) So much to do and see and so little time to get it all in
7) Character Customization ranks up there with CoH
8) Game play is FAST, FURIOUS, and down right FUN!!!
9) This is a game that if managed the right way will provide Millions of players years of fun.
10) This is a game that is easy to get into but very difficult to master.
The funny thing is I have only seen a very small part of the game. I could go on and on! The bottom line is, this could be the best MMORPG ever made. I can't wait to get into this badboy on May 17th!!!

Someone jumped on the "Yay positive reviews for a few days, this game must be the second coming of Christ for MMOs!!" train. Glad you're excited, but I dont think this will go past 200k CONSISTENT subs once all the hype has died away.

I have not been following this game. But I have to suggest you take a more realistic approach to your expectations. You have not seen much of the game, and there is the big element of community. If the people you play with suck, so will the game (multi player types).
I know I usually enjoy the first moments in a lot of games I play. Hopefully this games proves to have enough of that enjoyment to keep people playing beyond the start.

I have just started looking more into this game more in-depth. I hope that I can get into beta, but from the looks of it, it seems to have a lot of potential. It's exciting to see a fresh take on all the "Mash buttons" MMOs

And community's important; for instance, I saw a vid (posted in another thread here I believe), where the author used such words as "Lolwtf QQ" because he was playing as a Ranger. You kno where you find those kinds of people? WoW. If those people become the majority, say goodbye to maturity.

Well from what i heard im relieved now... thaught there were many many unresolved issues but this has set me to rest.I think first all i'm going to do is play with the character customization and create many many toons...i dunno why i do this but i did with CoX

Those people are in every game, its the amount that matters. As for the ranger being over powered, wait till launch. All you have to do is check the official forums for mature and adult conversations about the game.

Ugh here we go.. another boring guy with no sense of humor and is old before his time.. its a game not real life.. lighten up. what should of said "oh my I seem to of dispatched my opponent with the greatest of easy.. how delightful... I wonder how i could of ever done that?".

Immaturity is in the eye of the beholder,.. I have no problems with the WoW crowd and i have been playing 3 years, I cannot enjoy EQ2 or VG becuase the community is too uptight... WoW/CoX is just right.. but we are off topic.

Honestly, I can't help but be overly ecstatic about Age of Conan myself.
I have no idea how successful it will be or won't be, and I'm hesitant to make any judgment on how the rest of the game is since I've only experienced the content of the PvP Beta Weekend, but I haven't had so much fun playing an MMO my very first time since the World of Warcraft Stress Test.
Usually when pre-order time rolls around for new MMOs, I feel guilty advising people to try out MMOs I only KIND of like and notice things about it I know are potentially deal breaking for me, but with Age of Conan I haven't run into a single thing. Again, something I haven't had the pleasure of since World of Warcraft.
So personally I'm planning to get a collector's box, encourage as many friends and old guildies as I can to do the same, and pass out guest passes to those that I can't encourage come launch.
Though just to be a tad bit more reasonable, maybe I'll wait until after Open Beta impressions.

Question is, how much of a veteran are you with MMOs (or gaming in general)?
Any newcomer is easily swooned by the initial razzledazzle and topless avatars - how much game mechanics do you actually understand to judge "fun for millions of players for years"?
Who really cares about infinite-customization if gameplay is just mindless grind?
What creativity has been revealed that is not another "me-too" category?
Please elaborate so we may be enlightened...

What's the point? It's new at first, but after a week or so (unless it's too advanced of course) you'll get the hang of it. Then it'll be like "meh", like the autoattack has become. And I've heard how annoying combos are to pull off, especially in PvP; hope they fix that. Once you get used to it, it won't seem as fast. Just an underlying part of the game, and the "wow! innovation!" factor will be virtually gone. Look forward to it now though, by all means

I found my hunter and rouge in PvP much more fun to play.. requireing far more attention and co-ordination than the warrior and ranger I tried in AoC.. I simply did not give a stuff if i died.
eh, whatever. you guys can go play Wow and it's army of clone games that are all identical.
Something different and unique, taking the genre forward, is obviously not for everyone.

tell me how much attention and conordnation it takes to play a rouge or hunter at lv 19 pvp....i rest my case
I have a feeling that Age of Conan going to be something like dungeon siege or something just my feeling.
If so then World of Warcraft will still rank higher then it.
Then again Starcraft 2 is coming out and its surely going to be a success.

Well you might be right to some degree there. However, your comparison of classes that have been established for years ot relatively new types at a low level in a game still in Beta is a little unfair.
Whose to say come release that more attention for higher levels with more combos and skills in AoC for different classes wont give the same same experience or give a different outlook. Plus its a bit unfair as you have an overall view in PvE and PvP for the hunter and rouge types, where as this weekend, you have a relatively brief lvl 1-5 PvE experience and the PvP is self explanitory.
Its your dream, but face it, thats not gonna happend
Yes there will be kids, because they are everywhere (ok, except EQ2), but not because blood or nipples, but because it will be good game!
And even if someone could be attracted by that, he will be disappointed very soon and did not stay only because of that (porn sites are much better for this and even kids know that).
