    Men doing sports, fully naked:

    How far we have come....

Pretty much I also find it hilarious that full nudity has to equal porn to some people. I'm not sure when it is that our society will ever make the distinction between this is our skin and what we look like naturally  and depictions of full sexual acts. I guess maybe it's the fear that it will go that far.

But if it does there's going to be it's own section for it >.>

Well one thing is sure, this is going to give them a lot of free press, very smart move.

LOL... a 40 year old nudist. Yeah, your opinion is going to be in the minority on this one. Clothing is erotic? Only when you've desensitized yourself to nudity so much that it is the absence of it that sparks your imagination.

No he is right, it's all about the clothing. I am more attracted to a woman in sexy or light (or depending on what I see, even not so light) clothing than a completely naked one. But we are all different I guess. As you say imagination is the hook.

Arguably and arguably that was the reason. But on the other hand you have to start somewhere if you want to break through the hypocrisy and prudeness of today's society.

So I just clicked on the link to read the msnbc story, and the first ad I see, right under the story is, "Do Wrinkle Creams Work?"

    Classic .

Yes, the views of modern day society, religulous views, and the media have all put so much pressure on the sexual anatomy of a human.

You either choose to live your life knowing you think and act based on what you feel and know to be fact or choose to live based on what you think you know based on others and opinion.

If you live by the latter, than you are living in this world with a leash around your neck.

I read the article and I thought she made a lot of sense.

    my 2 cents

Wrinkled hands hardened by labour are the most beautiful things in the world.

Yes, he is right. People don't really seem to see it sometimes but it's not what you are not wearing but what you are wearing that hints at what is underneath.

One of THE sexiest things I've ever seen was a waitress at a pizza place who had a hole in her jeans on the upper thigh, relatively close to the crotch area. None of the guys in the place could take their eyes off of her.

what makes something erotic is how the body is defined by clothes or shadows or a certain pose. Just standing their naked usually doesn't rate so highly on the erotic scale. Now just put a necklase and braclets, just something simple like that and it makes the nudity become more heightened.

And once again, to the people who  are saying that younger people will be getting these games, YES we know that. Once again, that is where the parenting comes in.

Before there were graphic video games (I had an early atari which was cutting edge for the time, nothing erotic there) young people were constatnly trying to get a glimpse of what people looked like nude. Found playboys, photo magazinse, you name it. So younger people will see this stuff. It's how the parents raised the children that will really matter.

I attend life drawing classes regually, so it really is no big deal at all to me to see someone naked especially in the case of a character model in a game, which is technically a form of art. Now if they started adding ragdoll physics and seperate hitboxes that could be worrying.

I found it funny and don't understand why people are complaining tbh, like the simpsons bart penis joke.

Penises in MMOs. Fine. I got no issue with my sexuality, nor with any dangly bits. I'd probably laugh if anything.

    But...

You know... this gets really interesting considering the MMOs I've been playing. I mean... really... a penis on a guy, fine... but taurens, gnomes, wookies, ratonga, orcs, undeads and dragons? That's gonna make for one fascinating MMO experience!

I'm a big ol' fluffy carewolf. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Do I want to?  Not really, no.  But it doesn't really bother me, either.

    When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.

Don't we already have guild leaders in MMORPGs?

Anyways, I support the penis's right to be in the MMORPG.  We should quit shafting the penis and allow it to enter the medium

I have to agree. Well, first of all, my opinion on nudity in videogames is... well, its as stupid as nudity in cartoons. lol We're talking about pixels here and if people think seeing video game characters half-naked is hot, that is kinda sad.  I think Johnny Depp is one of the hottest guys on the planet but you won't find me drooling over his Captain Jack Sparrow character in PotC Online. I mean come on.... If someone has reached that point, its time to put down the mouse and step away from the computer for a while.

My second problem is that, yes, games are still marketed for male gamers but that is where game companies are making a mistake. They need to realize that female gamers (especially in mmorpgs) are closing the gap more every year.

    Who doesn't?

That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming!

Full frontal nudity has no place in a MMO wether its male or female it doesn't matter.

These are games if I wanted to watch softcore porn I wouldnt be playing a MMO.

    Playing: Nothing

    Looking forward to: Nothing

As long as there is a rating indicating that a huge schlong may appear at some point...fine. I love the clamouring for realism and immersion for mmorps that i've heard often and from various posts. Yet many  people would  scream bloody murder if a "peepee" pops up from time to time.

Lol I have played WoW for 4 years I have seen enough penises running around. On a professional note, I have taken enough art classes where nudity doesn’t bother me in the slightest. If a child happens to see it heaven forbid someone might actually have to do some parenting. If this is what the designer had in mind it is his right to explore his artistic freedom. MSRB warnings are there for a reason if you don’t want to see it DONT PLAY IT!
