EVE because it's magnificent intellectual masturbation. It's barely a game. It's more fun to think about EVE and all the cool stuff you could do in it, but it's so dry and boring that I can get the same stimulation from looking at an EVE wallpaper.
Wow...
He's absolutely correct.

FFXIV no question. I still do not know what SE was thinking releasing that game they way it was. I was a big FFXI fan so was really looking foward to FFXIV, but after playing it 5 days I quickly went back to EQ2
I'm actually very very glad I never even thought about buying any game of either the Dragon Age or the Mass Effect series, both of which I borrowed a friend's Steam account to play. They would definitely have made this list had I bought them =P
I also forgot to add KOTOR to my stinker list on my previous post, which is where it most definitely belongs. Waste of a good US$5 for me.
E.T. for the Atari 2600 (total waste of my parent's money)
Today I would have to say I wasted money on buying all the expansions for WoW cause I was bored (I was a closed beta tester of wow and played for a year after) I played for about a month before I was totally bored again.
I was lucky to be in Aion and Rift beta to know not to buy them (though I almost did the same thing I did with WoW and buy Rift when it was cheap, but held off)
WoW. I know it's Blizzard and I wanted to love it so hard. But I just could not. I have tried to get into it a few times over the years, but I just loose interest within the first 14 days each time. (Yeah, I know: Throwing good money after bad when re-sub-ing...)
Which is funny be course I have been playing "a wallpaper" (read up the thread if you dont get it) for 8 years now, and somehow that never dies on me...
AoC lasted shorter, but I got that for like $1, so it did not feel like the same waste as WoW.
I thought I bought a game. Instead of that I got a movie. But somehow it seems I am the only one with that oppinion because everyone praises that game. *shrug*

I feel the same way. It is a pretty good movie though. I have to jump in to Borderlands after an hour of watching Witcher 2 so I can actually do some fighting.

Foremost, definitely Horizons. Then, Everquest II.
Terrible!
I wanted to enjoy EQII that I tried going back after the major changes were made to the game, but I still couldn't stomach it.
Warhammer...
I even bought Aion about the same time, but War gets all the credit.

Aion followed by Warhammer Online followed by Dragon Age 2.
AoC, unfinished, bug filled & lacking content release, left after 2 weeks.
Quest 64, also known as Holy Magic Century back on the Nintendo 64... THQ even admitted it was crap.
AoC
