Rift...created a mage and played it for a couple weeks and felt like I had just started over in WoW. Since I was already in the mid 60s with my mage in wow, I felt like I was reduced back down to level 1 and had to start all over. It didn't feel fun and I went back to wow.
FFXIV...tho the game was horrible I had a few good months because my brother created a good linkshell and there was lots of people to party with...after a patch that nerfed group exp I quit.
Fallen Earth. I wanted to try something different but unfortunately the combat in that game is too horrible also the tedius crafting times were too insane for my taste.
I'm usually careful with what I spend money on, so I don't have the horror stories of most others. I will say that I regret buying Age of Conan. I got my money's worth, but that's only because I forced myself to play far longer than way enjoyable. And that was only about 2 months. Went back and subbed recently but what they improved from 1-60 they ruined from 60-80 with the terrible amount of grind required at endgame. I've played Korean grinders that were more entertaining.
Console-wise, definitely the PS3 Castlevania. I desperately wish I didn't buy that. I didn't use my own money fortunately, but it's money that I would have rather spent on a game I would have liked more.

I got it because it was on sale and one of my friends wanted me to play it with him. It was alright but it just was to friggin boring more run of the mill than i like. If i play somthing massive content is GREAT! But there has to be more fun to it than kill that and this. Had more fun playing BOI when it was outta beta with my slayer.
Not because it's bad just because my comp can't play it. I played the game total 1 hour and i had the game for months now. I have such huge FPS lag my comp tries to suicide when i play the game. I guess jokes on me for not realising a 2GB comp wont handle new games -.-.
I want to upgrade my comp but there are money issues going on my life so all i can afford are games lol.
It was one of my most anticipated games OF ALL TIME. I am a huge lover of the WAR style of play and art but man, I was extremely disppointed.
I still remember being somewhat depressed when I finally admitted to myself that the game stunk. I kept lying to myself saying, "It's not so bad! These bugs will be fixed! No problems!".

Edit: Forgot about RIFT -_- that one too was a bummer.
I gotta say wow hands down.

I've been buying games for over 30 years so picking out 1 stinker is impossible. But here are a couple of recent ones:
Rift: ho hum, been there, done that.
Star Trek Online: "nuff said"
WoW Cataclysm: I had already given up the game, then wasted another $50 on a lousy expansion.
I'll be reading a lot of reviews before I spend anything on SWTOR. Learned my lesson.
Call of Duty Black Ops.

Star Trek online. Got it for 10 bucks on steam and I still feel like I got robbed at gunpoint by a crackhead.
Warhammer Online.

Yeah..
Xsyon and blackops
Both... Terrible.. Terrible games, and way overpriced.
Never buying a CoD game again in fact.
Daggerdale.. it was going cheap on Steam.... last time i buy a game without researching it first!
