Horizons. Not only because of how terrible the final product was, but also because of the fact that it started out as an incredibly ambitious product, and after changing developers several times, turned out nothing like what it was supposed to be.
Horizions broke my heart lol.
Tell me about it. I followed that game for years before it came out. I can't believe it's been that long.
If it is limited to AAA games then WoW and Rift are the worst. Sure there are some badly made F2P Korean port MMOs that are worse but they are mostly irrelevant and not worth talking about.
I choose WoW as the worse game ever:
- Horrible ugly graphics
- Boring dumbed down game play with flat cookie cutter classes
- Forced solo questing
- Long drawn out gear grind at the end game
- Terrible community of 12 year olds and grown neck beards that act like 12 year olds
WoW - the only MMORPG i actually fell asleep while playing.
LOL I thought I was the only one!! It's great the first time through but once I hit max level i felt like I just completed a console rpg. Some of the areas I explored and leveled through I saw no other people! Sometimes for 10+ levels!!!!
Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!

Divine Souls was the worst MMO I ever played, clear winner. Since it's closed now, Zentia is my runner up.

Rift as runner up
- Basically a WoW clone
- Gimicy game play (Rifts)
