Question : Interface - Can you have you Magicka-Health-Stamina showing in Numbers instead of just colored bars & can you have your HUD info allways on screem , & why no Minimap ?
This was inspired by the Immersive Interface Mod of Oblivion. The devs of TES realized that people who play their game for years (and not for days or months) try to achieve more immersion--that is, they play the game because they love the world. So they take immersion mods like Immersive Interface, Real Hunger, etc.
The fading of the UI was the key feature of Immersive Interface--the hud will not bother your vision and you will feel as if you're fully connected to the gameworld.

Most of the issues pointed out there dont seem to be issues if you have a modern monitor. I have a 22" screen thats about a year old. Runs at 1920x1080 or something close and I dont have any of those "scrolling" issues that he does. Nor am I bothered that lists dont start at the top since the whole list fits in the proper area without scrolling.
I do have an issue with equiped items not being at the top of the list, but thats not that big of a deal, nor is being able to see whats equiped in my invintory screen.
I wish they would have just added mouse support though, I get headaches from dealing with this poorly ported system. And I'm not exagerating, I get actual headaches and can't play for long periods of time (5+ hours in a row, then again, that might be a good thing!). But it doesnt seem to be a global issue as I see tons of people playing non stop.
Here are some funny news. Skyrim hasnt arrived yet in Greece for Pc's. An official off the record answer i got was that, Bethesda took the game boxes that were heading for Greece and sold them in other european countries that had unexpectedely more neeeds for sales.
the excuse was that greece's market is a smaller one.
Thank you very much dudes.
As for Bethesda ... well they are aware that torrents are around the glob right?
Man this TES serie got a popularity boost after release Skyrim i realy did not realise it would become so popular on this site and maybe even worldwide. So may topics so many replys and views awesome.
P.S I realy dont understand why so many have crashes or problems with bugs ive played for 45 houres now and had not one crash or encounter big bugs yeh some minor ones as in almost all games just released.
Seems many eather have screwed up PC or not right hardware and up to date software for this game?
Hope to build full AMD system RYZEN/VEGA/AM4!!!

Really getting into this game now, As I said before I can't get into single player RPG's. But this world is awesome and keeps dragging me in!
One quick question, Am I supposed to pick a spec (Shield and One hander i have gone for) and stick to it? OR can i spend points in destruction etc too? At the moment I thought it might be best to stick all my points in Block and One hander, Is that right?
Also I have come across a few mobs (Giants and Snow troll) who just one shot me. I know it's all part of the game to find out stuff etc, But I'm not sure if it's because I'm to week to be in the area or am i supposed to just dodge them?

Cheers all.
You won't be able to max everything but choosing to focus on other things than 1h and block is very doable
As for the mobs. Some combos are easier than others. Picking the right companion and skill sets and you can kill giants and trolls easy enough. I went with archer/conjurer so I would have two and later 3 npcs to do the tanking for me, plus I can summon my own bow and arrows
Snow trolls and giants are supposed to be a hard challenge. I'm not surprised melee builds would have a difficult time

In full upgraded dragon armor (the light version) with 100 blacksmithing (smithing is by far the easiest skill to raise in the game) and 350 health trolls and giants are quite easy as I could just shrug off their melee hits. There are significantly harder MOBs (including a version of bandits, dragons, falmers, etc.) you'll encounter later in the game that are far more powerful than giants will ever be.
You can raise all skills to 100. Although I didn't bother to raise magic personally, I have all crafting skills, physical combat skills (except two-handers and heavy armor), and lockpicking and sneak at or near max. You will be limited to what you can put perks into though, so I'd recommend picking either a magic route or physical route. The perks deeper in each tree tend to be quite good so if you spread your perks across multiple trees you'll be significantly weaker than someone who specialized in my opinion. My perks are in Blacksmithing, Light Armor, Sneak, Archery, and One Handed Weapons. If I put perks into anymore trees I likely wouldn't of been able to get the best perks in each tree.
A quick answer to hopefully most people who are crashing. I did at the start due to putting my settings upto ultra when the game originally decided high for me. This is due to skyrim only being programmed to use 2 gigs of your memory even if you have say 16 gig.
Go the skyrim nexus site where the mods are being uploaded, ( over 100 already lol!)
and there is a great one to increase your ram useage to over 2 gigs. its very simple to do.
I now run on ultra with other gfx mods for better faces, blood and AA ect absolutely fine.
I am such a altitis inflicted player. I am already considering trying out a caster who specializes in minions. I was wondering if anyone tried the summons you control are they terribly hard to control or weak or the AI sucks to kingdom come ?
Any tips on what perks to put points in a pure minion controller.
If I were to purchase a house, would I be able to store my armor, weapons and such? I am carrying around good stuff and I would hate to get rid of it but it's slowing me down. What are some of the benifits of purchasing a home?
OMG I was ganked by an NPC!! Seriously...in one of the best dungeons crawls I come face to face with a bad arse archer/ bandit. He is moving and shooting and taking cover. The worse thing is he is mocking me while shooting! Saying things like, "Nice shot...but I am better!" Then proceeds to shoot me with an arrow. Then he ducks behind a boulder. Later during the fight, he strafed and shot, hitting me, and then said.."Hurry up and die...I want to take your stuff". LMAO!

Yes you can store your stuff in your house. if you get married yoru wife/husband can live with you if you choose not to live in their house. There might be other options but I haven't gotten that far as of yet.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."

I recommend the house in Windhelm once it's available to you, many display boxes, many weapon racks and mannequins to store your armor on.
