Dragons definitely get peoples attention. I had a older couple over to the house and was talking about how I did a few textures for the games last night and wanted there opinion on color balance since the husband is a artist. He blathered on how he hated the electronic form of art but hed take a look. Two seconds into the game a dragon lands and he literally lit up like a kid. OMG! A dragon! Its so beautiful! FIRE! Thats when you know they got dragons right haha.

I really HATE the UI and dodgy mouse/keyboard controlls when using the UI menus. So for me it is quite unusual that I really love the game despite that bloody retarded UI!!
Maybe it is the dragons, I dont know. I cant explain it. But something keeps me playing despite that UI nightmare.
Oh, could someone create a mod for Skyrim that adds a NPC with the name of the UI dev? Pretty please?

Normally I don't put up a mod recommendation, but for the past 2 days I've been trying out the "Tytanis" mod. It adds greatly to crafting, spells, and items into the game. Big variety of gear alone, and I've found this gear to be used by various NPCs in the game. IMO, more toys to play with regardless of your playstyle. Some bugs present, like some of the items not being upgradeable, though they can be enchanted. Still, it adds alot.

It is only now that I have come to appreciate how Elder Scrolls create entire landscapes. I knew all along that they are good at creating gameworlds, but it was just a few moments ago when I was reminiscing some other games with game worlds that have rich atmosphere have I learned to appreciate Bethesda fully.
I just kind of noticed how Bethesda puts several dungeons that are not story-related, do not have quests, and have the occasional easter egg or lore piece in it. I mean, Bethesda is the only game developer I know that puts so much effort into creating game worlds in the perspective of a "creating a world for the purposes of creating a world". I mean, it sounds weird, but to make it simple, other developers create worlds (graphics and atmosphere alongside) with the purposes of enhancing the game's story, etc. Bethesda creates a world simply to create a world for people to experience.

I would say he's just for fun. However...
Why don't you follow him. Might take a bit but he does lead you some place. He also has a few lines to say now and then.
Here's another bit, has anyone come across "Sinderion"?
For those who don't know, Sinderion was an alchemist in Oblvion who had a workshop below an inn in Skingrad.
In any case (and without giving away any spoilers) one can come across him. There's even a small fetch quest in the cavern. Of course there is also a pretty large (or what seems to be a pretty large) dwarven ruin in and around this cavern. It's a nice touch.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."
Yeah, it seemed to have really taken off also on the 360 version.

I bought skyrim for PS3 a while back and never really got into it for personal reasons. Now I am ready to get the adventure started and I have! Played about an hour or so and got to Riverwood, The Mine and this chics house (who i believe they said something about accepts you into the legion) but I have yet to get anything from her. I look forward to reading this thread and hopefully learning some stuff that might help me along in my journey.
I will be sharing my experience in the weeks to come..

Honestly i dont even know what your talking about. I didn't know there was anything wrong with it. As far as upadate's and everything, it all went fine and I am able to play the game. Read the first few pages of this thread and seen alot of complaints regarding the PC version so I decided not to delve deeper in the thread just yet. Especially considering the history of taking the wind out of my sails regarding games I'm interested in, these forums have. Thanks for the link I will probably check it out before I read any more here, I hope its just a history of bethesda games and not some Rick Roll to trash the game lols.
I want to keep playing but I'm waiting for my new episode of Jersey Shore to finish first ( I know, I know, You guys probably hate the show) While reading the Skyrim manual to give me a deeper understanding of what I am doing and skill trees or whatever it is considered.

The PC Version is fixed now, especially with the Sky UI mod fixing the game's UI, the PISE mod fixing the game challenge, and the Tytanis Mod fixing basically everything else. Also, there are a lot of graphic mods out there that have increased the beauty of Skyrim to Crysis level.
