After watching that, I think I'm gay now.

On topic: I dig the hair, even if it's totally fake.

I think the NDA is the only thing saving TOR's butt. This game's so slooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Seriously it's like being 5 years in the past on every aspects.

    You're a Hardcore Survivor!

You not only survived the zombie apocalypse, but did it with style! Your mastery of zombie knowledge, survival tactics, and weaponry is nearly unmatched. Congratulations, for you are hardcore!

I was in wow for 6 years, gw 3 years, eq and eq2 for years, aoc 2 years, war 3 years and i can tell you once--THIS IS THE BEST MMO I ever played, deep story, awesome world graphic, you can feel SW in every apect of game. Trolls are crying all over but believe me that is best what MMO can offer today

The game has all the elements of WoW.  It truly does.  No new mechanics at all to speak of.  Just a companion to follow you around and offer some combat support.

The only good things are the voice acting and story line.  Once you hit 50 - grind, pvp, wait for lockouts to be gone, raid, farm, rinse and repeat.

I think that you're right SW:TOR will be very friendly to players used to the WoW game mechanics, why re-invent the wheel after all. However, voice acting and better story-lines are innovations to this mmo formula. End-game is exactly that stuff to do with your max level characters while you wait for more content to be patched in or re-play the game with another class/faction.

I lol'd so hard at this troll post

How much WoW could a WoWhater hate, if a WoWhater could hate WoW?
As much WoW as a WoWhater would, if a WoWhater could hate WoW.

Don't forget companion system and crew skills. Sending your companion on diplomatic missions which effect your dark and light alignment, investigation missions, gatherin missions etc.  Very cool concept.

Felt linear till i reached Coruscant. since starter plaents are tutorials. After that nope. You can pretty much go in any direction and do what you like outside your personal storyline.

As previous Dude stated, you can do what you want outside of the story arcs.

Just my two cents from being around MMOs, Alpha & Beta testing them, since 1998 :)

Well, it's certainly not for everyone. Which is a good thing.

For me, while being an overly critical and complaining MMO-Player myself - but only since 2001, hope you don't mind my inexperience - I was playing this over the weekend and I had quite a fun time. More than in any other game in the past years.

Yes it is mostly WoW mechanics which i consider old-school, but you know what? It didn't bother me at all. I just wanted to continue the story all the time. I played imperial agent and grouped with a bounty hunter (lvl 14 now). And the storyline up to now was just awesome. All these hard vicious, wicked decisions. This game took me on an emotional level which other games couldn't accomplish in the last years.

I can not reproduce your saying they didn't get the SW feeling. From the intro for the classes to the exaggerated blasterfights, the ridiculous droid designs, to the cantinas. Everything is utterly SW cliché. For me they hit the feeling quite excellent. I certainly enjoy playing a Sci-Fi MMO again.

Also imho there is nothing to complain about the graphics. After tweaking it with nVidia inspector it runs more pretty and faster. I like the characters even more than in AoC (i think it's the eyes).

You could say, the only disturbing things are Darth Gank0r and Inquisitor Facemelt0r you meet now and then. But hey, that's not a gamemechanical problem. You can't play an MMO without meeting idiots.

Since you are such a great fan of open world pvp gankfests, this game is nor for you, try Darkfall Online. Oh and endgame. You are one of those guys that think the game starts at endgame. I lol at you.
