Yes, jesus wanted people to have free will! He didn't want all people to be the same, his philosophies are openminded. He didn't damn people to hell because they didn't believe what he did, he symphasized with sinners.

Why do you quote that? What's that supposed to mean? It's some texts written by a dude. And obviously one that had some serious issues. It looks like maybe his mother and father did him wrong. And it created a bit of anymosity. Too bad they didn't have therapy and anti-depressants back then. He may have been cured from his affliction before he let it out on the public.

yup. But you have to admit the whole bit about a person being born a homo is a bunch of bull.
How can i possibly prove this long-lived debate a farse, simple.
First of, in the peak of Roman rule, nearly all men of stature had a homo-sexual partner, like a young boy or man-slave. Why was this? Because that was part of the Roman fad. Rome was full of prostitutes, sex-slaves, corrupt politions, rapists and so on. The romans had everything, but of course human nature provoked them into having more. Nothing was taboo during the roman era: people were dieing for sport in the coliseum, and Prostitution was a regular buisness. Men usually used women as baby despinsers, and young boys for sexual partners.
My point is this; look at America today. Just like Rome, we rule most of the known world, but not by the sword, but by our economy. Of course we carry a big stick, but we rarely use it. Right now it's OK to be gay, it's OK to sodomise, and it's cool to watch lezbions make-out. The American traditions are dieing off, and new Fads are taking over. 30+ years ago homosexuality was unheard of in most American cities, not to mention Gay marriages( marriage literally meaning Man and Woman). And now it's acceptable.
Homosexuality is nothing new, nor do i care if someone is, in fact, a homosexual. I'm just tired of people trying to defend themselves with 'being gay is part of our genes'.
and yes, you can be a homo, but not act on the sins involved. It's up to God.

i'm not forceing anything on anyone. I used to be pure science, i've studied it all of my life. The harder i tried to dis-prove the bible, the more and more i became convinced that it's like swatting at the wind. Most of the tim you need more faith in science then you would need faith in any religion. I'm not saying that 'my' religion is better than anyone elses, i just study.
Do i know God is real? no, no one does. Can you prove a God exists? no. you can't.
Do you love your mother? Prove it.
But i do agree that this thread needs to die, bickering on religions is what starts wars, because you technacly can't prove anytihng.

by who exactly? I'm just curious...The writings of the New Testament are somewhat of a mystery to me...I find that most answers about faith, even Christianity can be answered in the Old Testament.
