I'm been a member on this site longer then you and uninstalled WoW over a year ago, and that is not enough, out of all games I play I enjoy Vanguard more then WoW.... NUFF SAID.

The point is, almost everyone who is accepted into a closed beta specially in the early phases are almost always the type who go into it for the game, not for themselves. I'm sure people would love to differ on that but people who join a beta to get free gametime are usually never selected and if they are, they are usually let go or end up breaking the NDA within weeks.
as for #2, there are a lot of smart and interesting people on this website, except for the few who like to do doomsay anything to make themselves feel important. There are plenty of ways to get your point and expression across besides lying and pretending you have a clue about something that you've obviously never played or ever really wanted to play.
and #3? My opinion? how is that an opinion, Almost everyone who claims they are in beta and give 0 proof or any sort of argument besides "i uninstalled to play wow" is obviously not in any sort of closed beta, specially he one he was claiming.

I agree with the OP, if enough subscriptions can be stolen or switched to AoC then this game has some real potential. A low population will personally kill the game for me regardless of the amazing content and graphical detail. I give it one big creepy thumb up !

On the other hand, you have given an opinion, but not a reasoned one. Yes I know you say you left the closed beta and reinstalled WoW. BUT I do not know why.
1. Maybe AoC is a great game but you PC is so old that it can only play WoW.
2. Maybe AoC is a different kind of game and you are more used to WoW style.

Well thats your opionion I personaly had more fun playing "Pirates of the carribean" trial than AoC.. I found the game play slow and dumb. So to summerise I wont be subbing to AoC in May.. although I am sure many others will.
Ill wait around for TCoS or the WoW expansion.

Now, as for you, your opinion is pretty much the same as his. everything differs between people and how they wish to play a game. Take for instance, Darkfall, More hardcore, more freedom, but the majority of mmo players don't always want a hardcore experience, though i'm sure we would all love a little more freedom.
I hope one day darkfalls comes out too, but i'm definitely not holding my breath, specially since I used to be obsessed with it back in 2004-2005( I learned my lesson though). I wish any and all mmo's luck in having a sucess in this hard and unstable market.

I love age of conan, everything about it except the zoning system. I do agree though, overhyping is one of the best ways to destroy a game, both by dev's and it's fanbase.

Is everything in the game made by us? -- Sounds horrible, given the mmo community, unless you only mean Addons/mods.
Is it full loot? -- Full PVP looting is not the best idea unless you plan on aiming for a smaller community.
Death penalty , is it harsh? -- Harsh death penalties tend to push away players and sometimes can cause a lot more grief then what they should.
Can a lvl 3 beat a lvl 15 by skilled play? This should all depend on player skill, but I do agree levels should not matter as much as in some games.
Can you delvl? Delvling is a horrible idea, atleast to me. at most make your exp drop when you die but stop at 0%
Does it have a anti hack system? All mmo's have an anti hack system, you just don't notice it.
Is it all player ran? Again, same as #2, can end up being horrible if given the types of players who currently play mmo's.
There you have it, your list to me is of a small niche game, aka Darkfall. Other opinions vary, but this is my opinion.

"Darkfall is the winner" So then...what are you comparing Darkfall to be the winner of? Best lemmon competition? And does Darkfall have all the listed things you mention...if it is not out...not in beta testing...that prolly means it may very well not have them either.
Darfall has major competition and many of the clans including mine have moved on to Mortal Online. I will give AOC a miss and play WAR until Mortal comes out.

Darfall has major competition and many of the clans including mine have moved on to Mortal Online. I will give AOC a miss and play WAR until Mortal comes out. At last a game which doesnt cater to care bears.
And I prefer to play AoC until mortal comes out then give that a go. But if you think War is any less catering than AoC is then think again. But I also know that MO wont be out 2009 just as DF wont. until then AoC caters for long term appeal for me and way past that point.

I'm been a member on this site longer then you and uninstalled WoW over a year ago, and that is not enough, out of all games I play I enjoy Vanguard more then WoW.... NUFF SAID.

The point is, almost everyone who is accepted into a closed beta specially in the early phases are almost always the type who go into it for the game, not for themselves. I'm sure people would love to differ on that but people who join a beta to get free gametime are usually never selected and if they are, they are usually let go or end up breaking the NDA within weeks.
as for #2, there are a lot of smart and interesting people on this website, except for the few who like to do doomsay anything to make themselves feel important. There are plenty of ways to get your point and expression across besides lying and pretending you have a clue about something that you've obviously never played or ever really wanted to play.
and #3? My opinion? how is that an opinion, Almost everyone who claims they are in beta and give 0 proof or any sort of argument besides "i uninstalled to play wow" is obviously not in any sort of closed beta, specially he one he was claiming.

I agree with the OP, if enough subscriptions can be stolen or switched to AoC then this game has some real potential. A low population will personally kill the game for me regardless of the amazing content and graphical detail. I give it one big creepy thumb up

On the other hand, you have given an opinion, but not a reasoned one. Yes I know you say you left the closed beta and reinstalled WoW. BUT I do not know why.
1. Maybe AoC is a great game but you PC is so old that it can only play WoW.
2. Maybe AoC is a different kind of game and you are more used to WoW style.

All I can say is don't be in a rush to hype this game to the point people hyped Vanguard, because I think many will be sorely dissappointed. The best thing to do is wait for the open beta and give it a shot before making any judgement calls.

I love age of conan, everything about it except the zoning system. I do agree though, overhyping is one of the best ways to destroy a game, both by dev's and it's fanbase.

Is everything in the game made by us? -- Sounds horrible, given the mmo community, unless you only mean Addons/mods.
Is it full loot? -- Full PVP looting is not the best idea unless you plan on aiming for a smaller community.
Death penalty , is it harsh? -- Harsh death penalties tend to push away players and sometimes can cause a lot more grief then what they should.
Can a lvl 3 beat a lvl 15 by skilled play? This should all depend on player skill, but I do agree levels should not matter as much as in some games.
Can you delvl? Delvling is a horrible idea, atleast to me. at most make your exp drop when you die but stop at 0%
Does it have a anti hack system? All mmo's have an anti hack system, you just don't notice it.
Is it all player ran? Again, same as #2, can end up being horrible if given the types of players who currently play mmo's.
There you have it, your list to me is of a small niche game, aka Darkfall. Other opinions vary, but this is my opinion.
