All I see with this post is one side of the story - why did he get teleported? If the player was doing something that's against TOS - then too bad he got killed. Better to be ganked and lose your stuff than to lose your account.
Also: To those of you who played DF right after launch or got ganked early on and like to post here and the DF forums that Darkfall is E V I L and all the players will spit on you and taunt you forever in game - Wow is calling
Really...it's getting old...mmmkay?
Currently playing SWTOR and it's MUCH better than it was at launch.

Actually, it's clear in the screenshot that the GM caused him to teleport, as he appologized and admited to guilt. Wasn't something the player did against TOS. I'd take a look at that screenshot and read the conversation between the player and the GM... it's actually quite funny... though I do agree with you in that this thread is getting a bit long in the tooth.
There have been rampant rumors of GM's in alliances/clans abusing powers in game.. Today a thread surfaced about a player who was teleported by a GM where an enemy player was waiting for him to kill and gank. Afterwards the GM refused to refund the players items.. Allowed the enemy players to loot his body and basically told him to "contact support" and stuff it.. The player obviously went straight to the forums to get some closure and since every thread about the subject has been sensored and locked and or deleted. Another case of a corrupt company running a corrupt game that doesn't even work.. I've canceled my subs after this, I hope everyone follows.
The fact that the player went straight to the forums, and not straight to the GM's supervisor, tells me that they have a different agenda in mind. It sounds to me like the player didnt want this dealt with appropriately, and in an unbiased fashion. They were looking to make trouble.
With only 21k subs in Darkfall, I don't think they can afford this kind of bad publicity.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I don't work for any MMORPGs. If I did, I wouldn't be posting here, I'd be working hard on that MMORPG! Secondly, I don't have a vendetta against Darkfall. I will be honest in saying I'm incredibly biased against Indie companies, but not Darkfall.
As for what you can do about it, you're welcome to report me if you feel I've violated some terms, or you may use the "Block" button to block me. I won't bother you anymore then.
Sorry for the trouble, friend.
I'd like to add that I participate in threads that are active. Not all of them are Darkfall. I actually have said some good things about Darkfall in some of my post history. This particular thread just happens to have some of the bad things in it.

It's about corporate accountability... the GM did admit to guilt, so why not fix his own mistake? It's understandable if it were the player's fault, but in this case, the GM admits to making the error (or so he claims and that could be an entirely different story in and of itself). My guess is Aventurine's policy will be to continously bury any new posts on the subject, ignore their mistake and obvious lack of protocols for such situations, and innocently whistle while hoping noboby notices... too funny :P
The GM actually tried to solve the problem with all means in his power, OP didn't post the screenshots show that. Then he suggested the user to open a ticket so his problem get solved by admins/devs who actually HAVE the power. But the player reacted with "how can i get you fired?" rather then being interested ion ways to solve the problem.

No he didn't all he did was say in public chat, "Please don't loot the grave" when the guy goes, "Will I get in trouble if i do" he clearly says, "No, you wont" telling the guy he's free to take it even though he made the mistake.
Look here, he explictly asked the player personally not to loot :

Well that's nice to know the GM seems genuine in trying to rectify his mistake... this might be a case of Aventurine not delgating enough authority to the GMs to help out. If Aventurine had proper protocols and procedures in place, then perhaps the player might not have to waste valuable time and effort in putting a ticket then waiting for who knows how long for a response... and perhaps a response that may or may not be to his/her satisfaction.
Still, I guess I can understand why giving a GM too much power might lead to corruption and temptation... This seems like a situation of the old saying... "Between a rock and a hard place"... can't help feel bad for the player who got teleported though.

The guy talking to the GM appears to be a pretty big jerk. The GM seems to be trying to solve the situation with what tools he has, but the player he's communicating with is making the situation a lot more difficult than it needs to be.

Do GM's not have decent gear and skills? Could he not have just told the guy if he looted he would one shot him and let the guy take his gear. Seems there was a simple way out of this imo.
On the other hand was the fight which led to his death fair, okay it wouldn't have been there but there would have been risk v reward for the guy that killed him, in his mind he stood a chance to lose his stuff no?
Too much about the situation is unknown, but it seems the title is a little misleading.
----- The person who is certain, and who claims divine warrant for his certainty, belongs now to the infancy of our species.
Just to clear things up a bit, the GM didn't teleport him to a spot where the enemies were waiting, but to near an racial enemy's NPC city/town where the towers zapped him to death.
But that aside, i truly think its gay that they won't reimbuise his lost gear and shit because the GM fucked up, it'd make sense if he lost it to a bug or a crash, but no, it was a dimwit GM's mistake (which should not have happened in the first place), thus a reason enough to pay him back what he lost, if not, i call bad community management (which AV is really known for... its just horrid)

Out of ammo maybe ? Drunk or watching Merlin atm so GM wasnt aware what the hell is going on ? Or one shooting player is forbidden (use power) even for sake of another player ? Maybe his gf/wife standing there his neck & whispering "come to bed" ? Or ... ermm ... whatever... damn GMs. Avoid GMs that has life.

This is a lot of whining about a simple mistake that the GM tried to rectify.
[Mod Edit]
Look what game we are discussing, and you would understand why, Darkfall has a very bad playerbase. Some kid took a GM's honest mistake and tried to blow this completely out of proportion. It was a simple but costly mistake, the proof has already been seen from both sides. If the GM had the ability to get this players items back he would of surely. If anything, there should have been some kind of appeal process for this player, but in a full loot PvP game, you have to expect the unexpected, user error, bug, or GM f' up.

Ah right, so this is where T20 works now
We are all human here.. I hope.
But the way it was handled sure didn't seem very "GM" to me.
Another reason that I wouldn't resub to game, there goes another sub AV.
