A lot of people including myself are already disappointed with GW2, and those people will move to TERA trust me, it will happen.
This game its much better than what i was expecting and at higher levels the mob AI and the pvp Guild versus guild promises hours of endless fun

Oh crap, you're right.  Guess it has been a long time...

    When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.

And btw ppl say it feels like aion thats so wrong it feels a little bit like lineage 2. Just little things like the sounds in villages and look&style are typical lineage 2.

So a themepark game with no open world, heavy instanced and more focus on casual bs and no open pvp is the next step great future for mmorpgs.

Honestly speaking, ur one of the very few I have seen being disappointed with GW2. What is this "a lot of" ur talking about? 2, 3 or 4 ppl doesnt count for "a lot".

Besides, have u tried the game urself at any gaming events whre GW2 featured? If not then how can u already be disappointed with it?

    Please do explain :).

Looking forward to EQL and EQN.

Having played in both CBT1 and CBT2, I am enjoying the game at this time. I am playing the Mystic and avoiding playing a priest (which will be my main when the game is released). Don't want to get bored playing the priest before the game is released.

To me, combat is more fun than the current tab targetting MMOs. Sure, there are some issues with combat, but in my opinion, it is more fun compared to playing WoW, Rift or SWToR. Aion was fun but the account hacking put me off it.

Crafting isn't too bad yet, but getting paverunes is kind of hard as its a random loot drop off mobs although I only just made it to lvl 20 yesterday, and haven't really done Bastion of Lok (Dungeon) to see if paverunes drop more easily.

The AI for the NPCs are a bit dumb in some cases, although I imagine that is more of an intended feature. I've fought some mobs that does their charge move ( Red eyes flashing) and have plenty of times to dodge, but I've also fought mobs where there was very little time to dodge and I'd get hit.

I'm testing both Lancer and Mystic, and am finding that with Lancer, it is annoying killing multiple mobs as I can only attack in front (very little AOE), but with the mystic, I can easily AOE the mobs down quickly. I did try other classes but didn't enjoy them as much.

As for PvP, I never tested it so I can't tell you whether it is good or not.

Overall, I think out of all the MMO out there, Tera will be the most fun. I'm not talking about whats to come such as Guild wars or Archage etc, but what is already released and me having played it. The way I see it, Tera > EvE/WoW > Rift > SWToR. Of course this is how I see it for now, but this will probably change once I played it for a while.

The amount of hate is silly.  I played 15 minutes and it was boring blah blah blah.  I played the first 15 minutes of WoW and it was boring.  I played the first 15 minutes of almost any game and it would be boring.  I ran the level 26-27 dungeon this last beta and the last boss took atleast 5-10 minutes of constant moving, attacking, and etc etc.  It probably had more mechanics than WoW end game dungeons/raid have now and it was only the second dungeon.

Ofc you can not do those and just past the island but when you get off you don't know how to block/dodge because you didn't learn them. Its like taking a pratice test, sure the answer is right there and you can just copy it but you cheat yourself out of the learning. Try not doding/blocking through out 11-20 and you find yourself near a campfire a lot more often than you like.

The problem is, its nearly impossible to die on the island.  What good is a practice test when the worst you can get is an A?

People hear how TERA takes skill and is so much tougher than tab target, and then come in and its the easiest MMO 1-20 yet.

Lol like not every other game's lvl 1-20 is just as easy?

Hogger dashed the hopes of an easy 1-20 for many unskilled newbs.

Forever looking for employment. Life is rather dull without it.

Is it really hate? I think most people are just getting tired of the same type of gameplay. The graphics and visuals are nice in Tera. The combat is engaging. After that though I feel the game falls a bit short.

One thing is that I'd like to see this game get rid of the subscription model. If it were a buy to play model I'd get the game as it is. But when adding a subscription to it, that is a big turn off for me.

Lol at all the wipes that insued when people didn't know to chain/stun the boss every 25% HP as it is about to run so it wouldn't spawn ads that can one shot you if you don't avoid them.

its not ever 25% its a timer. Also time chain doesn work. Although once i chain it right before it got there and it was out side my chain range lol, i was moving toward it it said 23m and my chain is only 18+3 but it still land XD Lancer should never take the little spider, they do so much dmg you loss all your mp instantly, let the DPS handle it lol just drag the boss away and tank it till DPS are done.

AoC, TOR and many more I forget now, are so much fun in the lower levels.
I'm glad that same quality kept up in the higher levels.
