There were titles and in-game achievements in FFXI so we can expect the same for FFXIV.

BTW, you can re-map your keys in XIV to be EXACTLY the same as FFXI. I'm sorry but you can't bind the camera controls to the arrow keys (which is the camera controls for ffxi)

That is odd. For you the game felt like it was holding your hand but there are so many others complaining that there is no tutorial or that they are completely lost.

You have to delete the current binding first before you can change. If a key is already being used as something else, you have to find it and delete it.

I prefer the keyboard controls as well.

You probably should not buy this game. It's almost a clone to FF 11. NPCs will still not have the ! and ? signs above their heads.

Not everyone wants to be a healer. Putting together a group in FFXI and not one person wants to refresh or heal sucks. Dual boxing solves this problem.

I dual and triple boxed FFXI but I'm not sure about FFXIV. I'm going to worry about whether I can play with 1 account first. My bf and I will each have an account so if our comps can run 2, we will definitely try. lol

I'm glad they're not pandering to WoW players and I'm also glad that those people complaining on these boards are not going to play FFIV.

You also might want to try and check out the schedule. You cannot log on all the time. Only certain days and there are also specific times. There may or may not be one tonight and Sunday night for NA players.
