I'm a PC gamer and have been since the mid-90's. I focus on the MMORPG genre, starting with MUDs and The Realm, but considering the real start to this genre with Ultima Online in 1997. To this day UO is considered my favorite game because it emulated what this genre was initially supposed to be about (a virtual, player driven social world in a fantasy setting) and because it was in the early-era of the internet, a time that will never be able to be replicated.
Since those days I've moved around to every MMORPG of merit (and many of non-merit). Waiting for the next great thing like many of us, as the WoW glory days died out shortly after BC.
I try to post thoroughly on these forums and with a non-biased and offensive posting style. I like to be neutral and call out truths, as I see them. Always open to playing along side new people in games as I solo much of the time, so if interested please let me know! See you in game, either in my party or at the end of my blade (or bow, or spellbook).
What a strange video. They promote features such as:
- Dodging in midair.
- Consuming items.
- Restoring Health
... as if they are hallmark features this game is bringing to the table that you might never have seen anywhere before.
What I best remember about The Realm Online is my younger brother (perhaps age 9 at the time?) getting scammed in-game by a guy who befriended him for a short while, told him he'd level up his characters while my brother was at school, and through t…
What is this entire misconception going around the internet that Mirage returns AC to its roots? It doesn't. Stealth in Mirage is exactly like Odyssey and Valhalla but stripped down. It forces you to use Stealth more than combat because nearly all s…

Enough with the final fantasy 7 already!
Got another 15-20 years for them to finish all the "chapters" of a classic that only needed a remaster, not a remake.

I must say: the reviewer reads as someone not overly familiar with the Total War: Warhammer franchise or the Total War franchise as a whole. It reads more like someone coming in for a quick few hours per campaign, who then move onto the next game (o…
Ultima Online, strange as it sounds, especially as it extends to Private Servers like Outlands where the developers allowed for more color palettes and new articles of clothing. Hair dye and hair style plays an important factor, too.
The unique…

Too much weight?
Fast travel to town, sell/store and return?
I don't see an issue.
I don't have the game yet but watched many play it. Mods are a choice, NOT a necessity.
I don't plan on Fast traveling too muc…
This is a really bad and bland game. I played the EA/Beta this past weekend .... wow. Not impressed. The game looks, feels, and plays like it came out in 2014 or so.
Good luck to them. But I don't see this game succeeding, even in the community…

So, genuinely wondering; what exactly is so hyped about Blue Protocol, and what does it offer that distinguishes itself from countless other anime style "action combat" games?
I've looked at a few videos, both of comb…

I wish people saw (and called) this game for what it is:
a techno-fantasy action-hero-collector in a rough-state not even in Early Accesss yet,
that works exactly like Warframe in terms of grouping, gameplay mechanics/p…
Females? In New World? Please.... My Steam review centered around the matter, written sometime last year:
The character creation system in itself is laughable, and a complete pandering to the modern American PC culture, where every issue and to…
What gameplay? Two characters walking around a barren world, devoid of life, with three small pockets of obviously spawned (and non threatening) enemies which showcased no combat mechanics other than they die in one bullet. The UI is a cut/paste thr…
The game needs at least two solid years of content and updates before it's worth sinking any time into. And even then.... is it worth it? You'll otherwise get around ~40 hours of gameplay before, even for a 40k fan, the game grows stale and repetiti…
Cross-Factions is a simple way to make Blizzard's future game design easier, so that they can spend less time/resources on half-assed expansions like the past few they've had (including Dragonflight).
WoW's entire premise was based on Faction …
How can anyone get hyped about a Korean MMORPG like Throne and Liberty? Guys... Korean MMOs never change. They are the exact same cut/paste game since Lineage 2 with modified (usually improved) graphics. Their gameplay systems recycle the same mecha…
Maybe they realized what I realized after playing this game for 20 minutes during beta: it's the same as every other Korean MMORPG to come out in the past 20 years, and very dated, and moved on with life because the game is just more of the same non…
