Honestly SWTOR is a good MMO. Even after all these newer MMOs like GW2, Wildstar, FF14, ESO, etc... I think that aside from WoW (by a large margin mind you), SWTOR is the next best MMORPG available.
I eventually did go back to WoW because I really…
honestly the game blows, its already begun to hemorrhage players.
The pvp is complete trash its nothing but visual clutter, zergy button mashing, repetitive same three skills over and over again, poor game play. You can't click on moving targets b…
Wildstar is a good MMO, probably one of the best released in recent times. The problem is that ultimately WoW is still better, and I think that has a large part to do with the telegraph system.
Nearly every ability is an AoE attack, that is that i…

You dont need a hype train when the game (in beta) is already better than all other mmos.
You are just being a fanboy, nothing else. This says nothing about the actual game.
As a healer in every MMO I play, and as a PvP preferred player, I have to say that Wildstar fell woefully short of my expectations.
Healing in Wildstar, at least the first 20 levels or so, was really boring. There was like two or three healing butt…

The answer is simple. You streamline everything to make your lives as developers simpler, because you are lazy imcompetent and the wrong people in charge o…
The problem with MMORPGs today is that they have tried to innovate too much and ended up breaking down one or more of these holy pillars.
Guild wars 2 absolutely took a crap on the progression pillar and lost half its player base in the first month…

Exactly spot on with your criticism.
GW2 is an example of how not to build an MMORPG, and for me as a pl…
The correct answer is obviously no.
B2P does not properly support real MMORPGs. The developers want Wildstar to be a real MMO, not a buy to play, beat it, shelf it, pseudo "MMO" like GW2.
This game is neither an MMO or an RPG.
I know this site was selling out by covering RPGs in addition to MMOs, are they now covering Card games, RTS, FPS, and all sorts of other games? Should I expect a mario kart 8 preview next?

I am glad you guys are moving to adapt. :-)
That is a false dichotomy, as those are not the only two options, they could also continue to cover only MMOs and thrive by doing so. Th…
1. Instancing
2. LFD/LFR
3. F2P / Cash Shops
4. Quick Travel / Flying Mounts
5. Insignificant to no death penalties
Basically its time for MMORPGs to go back to their roots and re-modernize from there and stop copying WoWs easy mode method w…

I found healing to be far less fun then WoW to be honest.
