I am thinking that VG will get unplugged around the time that the new SOE games launch. Such a shame, so much potential that will never be realized.

You can change from 1st person to 3rd person using your mouse wheel. There is an option to enable 1st person when entering combat...sometimes I use it, sometimes I don't.
