If you didn't hit 60 or 70 lvl after the TBC, you din't see most of content. The really fun game starts imho with Scarlet Monastery instanced dungeons, when you hit at least 33 lvl.

I played the WWIIOL about a week and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to play more due to technical issues. Often Im surprised that people complaining about low fps or lags - there were none of that problem when I was playing.

Why dont you use flaps to take off? I found out that just when rolling, its good to open flaps, then the take off speed is very low. Just a 30 sec after reaching couple meters of altitude, close the flaps immediately.
